French haven't got their forwards in the game at all yet

Gotta hand it to FIFA, staging the biggest conspiracy in the history of sports so Argentina win is one thing, but kicking it off by screwing them on multiple offside calls so they almost get eliminated by Saudi fucking Arabia was a true masterstroke.

That one from the corner just now was ridiculous too. Played backwards and came off Giroud.

England could learn from this Argentina team, a goal up and going for another, not backing off and sitting on it.

How the fuck we lose to these, Argentina making them look worse than we made them look

They’ve clearly been fucked over by illness - they looked ten times better last weekend. Something clearly not right in the camp when you’re making double substitutions before half time.

Argentina have been fantastic too tbf.

Messi has been brilliant, few people going to be annoyed at how much they are going to talk about that I think

Not sure if it’s anything to do with an illness or it’s just Argentina wanting it more, fighting harder, and winning the tactical battle.
Either way unless France improve dramatically second half or the Argentinians sit back it is hard to see how France get back into this.

Replays show that it was indeed a clear foul on Di Maria for the penalty.

Also looked like Loris came off his line for the penalty - can only imagine the meltdown on here if he’d saved it and VAR stepped in!

Don't think France are that good anyway ,- defence in particular.

So you don't think that illness can affect sporting performance in any way?
OK.

Can't see MacAllister staying at Brighton much longer.
