I hope we try and remain as attack minded as we can throughout the tournament and don't turn into a defensive borefest against a decent side
Should have been a second there.
How can that be a penalty and Maguire's not?
Probably goes to show people shouldn’t wet the bed when we lose a few meaningless Nations League games.
Iran are a good side and I think they’ll qualify 2nd in the Group if they don’t lose their heads after this loss.
Iran drew to Portugal, pushed Spain in a narrow lose and beat Morocco. They’re better now than in 2018.
The penalty decision was a disgrace. If that’s a penalty, so I’d the foul on Maguire. Trying to even out a one sided game.
No they won'tIran are a good side and I think they’ll qualify 2nd in the Group
I still believe in the tech. The implementation is consistently bad and ruined the concept really. Is there anyone who still thinks VAR makes the game better? Just one person? No judgment if that’s genuinely what you believe, I just don’t know if it even has any fans left.
They're a poor side and both Wales and the USA should be able to beat them.Probably goes to show people shouldn’t wet the bed when we lose a few meaningless Nations League games.

What do you mean? I still believe that ordinary refs have eyes and brains.I still believe in the tech. The implementation is consistently bad and ruined the concept really.
How can they give Iran that and not Maguires?

That hasn't been enough down the years though has it. Unless you are happy to accept hand of God moments etc. Which is a fair enough viewpoint. I think the replays give the officials all the tools to get more decisions correct. The implementation is so bad however that I now don't think it's worth the hassle. What do you mean? I still believe that ordinary refs have eyes and brains.
Or some sort of challenge system like in the NFL? It's shit as it is so they need to try something. It should be implemented how it is in rugby. The referee makes a call on field and refers it up to VAR to check his marking.
If a VAR official is proactively recommending a referee looks at the monitor, there’s an ingrained bias in the decision making.
Would that incident have been referred and given if it was a close game? I really don’t think so.
