Flipping heck, some of the entitled, partisan toxicity for Wales is a bit unfathomable.

Wales are barely a whisper of the team that reached the Semis of Euro 2016, and won’t be much of a threat, so keep it on, lads.

One observation of the games in general, is that there have been a lot of very close calls for yellow/red challenges, and the refs seem to be giving players very little protection. That challenge down the back of Kane and numerous others have been really 'naughty' and if teams realise they can get away with kicking/taking out more skilful opponents, they will. Won't be surprised if an all out brawl breaks out as a result of one in the tournament.

My grandad was Welsh, missus is Welsh, and i was in a Welsh regiment , so it's all light Hearted banter for me with Wales .

I do have some Welsh relatives actually and on the whole, they are quite nice. My mum used to get upset though when he Welsh sister-in-law would ring her up to gloat about Wales beating England at rugby and my mum was such a lovely, gentle soul who was completely taken aback by the vitriol. She didn't even follow sports at all.

Any other time, the sister-in-law was really nice to her.

I did once work at a place that had 5 Welsh people working there (out of a taskforce of 500) and to a man, they were all vile. Really, really horrible, arrogant and spiteful.


Maybe it was just an awful coincidence they all ended up at the same place.

My boss was Welsh and he was a horrible, horrible man. I actually ended up with depression and anxiety and was off sick for a year as a result.

It does taint your thinking doesn't it. We had loads of Geordies there and they were all lovely.
