I think the leadership issue on the pitch is probably the biggest problem we have.
I really don't agree on this leadership idea. This is it. Assume the recruitment team saw qualities in the players they found but those qualities aren't there in enough depth to stand-up to playing in front of 25k at home that have expectations of a top six push. Either that, or they assumed those qualities didn't matter as MR, AV, DL or whoever coached them could drill those qualities into them. Not good.
Got one now thanks anywaySomeone on this forum, possibly this thread, thread was trying to punt an u23 ticket

It's not like we're starting games well and losing our way. Or going down early and heads dropping.
The performance as a team just isn't there. There's little cohesion. That to me points more to a coaching/management issue rather than leadership on the pitch.
There's no way the addition of Matty James suddenly turns us into a top 6 side.

Leadership might not be the right word. Just players who take responsibility on the pitch and keep teammates on assignment. I don't see enough of that.
When they start to form he just changes itAgree in general. I've said before that we've got no partnerships at all in the team.

Fadz back as defensive coach, and strong character just to have around the place? We miss McFadzeen , or at least someone similar
City 3 QPR 0..heading for the bookies now
No, his prison sentence was downgraded to a fine and 150 hours of community service.Chair still not in prison?
Nah, but it could turn us into a poor side that fights and scraps for every point availableI really don't agree on this leadership idea.

That's still awful thenNah, but it could turn us into a poor side that fights and scraps for every point available

Could be the difference between keeping us up and getting relegated and/or give us enough time/breathing space to sort things out on the training ground so we're no longer awful. That's still awful then
I know.. I'm going!!! I knew someone would spot itWe're away mate, thought this had been clarified elsewhere in the thread
Look at Sunderland last season. Team full of kids with no experienced head or leader. Fans slating their owner for only building a team with young players who they thought would be then developed and sold for a profit.
They finished mid table but were on a dreadful run the last part of the season and many thought if the season had continued for another couple of months they would have gone down.
this season they signed Brown in midfield but not a lot else and sold arguably their best player in Clarke. Brown seems to have totally transformed their team a long with another manager
for the crime he was guilty of? pays to have money I guessNo, his prison sentence was downgraded to a fine and 150 hours of community service.
That is leadership
But we ain’t signing anyone it seems that aren’t likely to turn a profit sometime soonLook at Sunderland last season. Team full of kids with no experienced head or leader. Kenneth Paal for them?Simms to get two and a deflected effort from Eccles with a late consolation from them to end our losing run.
