I would say so if we got promoted (miles away from that thought) he wouldn't cut it in the prem and we would get pummeled with our poor midfield and defence
The irony with these players is they’d probably thrive in the top flight

I mean we didn't lose?

I'm the most Pro Robins bloke going. I literally always see the positives and give benefit of the doubt where needed. This is this first time in years where I'm questioning him. It's awful motivation
I am the same. Watching tonights game has made me really concerned for him because i just couldnt see any identity or emotion from the team. Never looking for a forward pass, always sideways or backwards to the wings, two up top who want to be played through, but it never happens.
none of the midfielders can play a cutting forward pass.
Van ewijk looks a complete shadow of himself,
And the defending as a whole is constantly emergency.

Still dont believe now is the right time to sack Robins and cause more upheaval of the squad and club. They need some stability, confidence builds slowly. We need to get to January and then invest in experience across the midfield and defence.
We have to pray we get some results soon though, performances come second to points right now because its really not good.

Lowest home gate of the season on Saturday at £37 a pop surely

I can’t see us mustering up a thousand each to go up to Middlesbrough and Sunderland in the space of a week either…

I personally think Eccles has been one of our most consistent players so far. Today, I think was probably his worst performance. It doesn't speak volumes but so far he is probably our player of season.
What a load of rubbish do you know anything about football he’s division 1at best !!!!!

worrying though that our best player is one that on a good day is bang average and offers very little creativity, penetration, and regularly gives the ball away

His decision making at times is shocking. When he got injured today just roll it to Rudoni. Also in the first half when he tried to curl a very difficult ball to BTA he must have had 10-15 yards in front of him to commit the defender. As others have said he's ok/average and that's about his ceiling.

if you’re talking about the difficult ball I think you are, MVE was in acres of space on the right and literally a five yard pass away too on the edge of their area

So the “blip” continues 2 wins in 19 games

continuing that form would give us maybe five wins out of 46 games - other than the middle of last season we’ve been pretty poor, the start of last season, the end of last season, the start of this season

we are in relegation form and completely in a relegation fight at the minute..very worrying

We've got a very difficult next 6. There's every chance we will lose at least 4 of them.

I'm surprised how little people are angry at it. Whether that's towards the players or manager

Lack of confidence apparently. Not the dressing room full of delicate, soft flowers. I wouldn't back one of them to show a bit of fight or backbone.

Bar Sheaf, MVE and Tats I would honestly scrub the decks. Dean Austin should be the first one out the club. You wouldn't trust him with a fiver to go and get you a decent meal deal at lunch.

In January we need to bring someone in with some steel and character. Unfortunately I expect us to be in deep, deep shit by that stage.

I don’t think it was as bad as people are saying. We went great but we haven’t been winning games. What do people expect… come out tonight and play them off the park 4-0. It wasn’t going to happen. It’s a point it’s a building block and I honestly think we give our all. We have to accept we aren’t as good as we think we are and with that we are low on confidence.

On the train home now. Feeling down but we can’t accuse robins of losing the dressing room. The players are giving their all. It just lacks quality and belief.

If the side lacks quality against bottom of the league after spending £40m then something has gone horribly wrong somewhere.

Can’t believe people are trying to defend it.

Performance was worse than Saturday against worse opposition.

QPR are bottom of the league, even a mid table team would expect to go there, comfortably be the better team and win the game.

We look worse in the 5 back than we did in the 4.

Our squad is one of the top 6 most expensive assembled in the league and we’re in the relegation zone.

We’re actually getting worse as the season goes on.

No people were not expecting a 4-0 win but the performances for a long while now have been very poor.

If they really were giving their all they’d have twice as many points as they do now from these fixtures. We’ve only seen it for 90 minutes in the league on two occasions.

disagree - the players are not giving it their all, most look like they have no passion, drive, aggression - it’s poor, and that’s most of the frustration at least from my point of view

eg Simms - take his fucking shirt off him and tell him he’s not playing again until / unless he shows some aggression, and if that ‘tit for tat’ with Norm was real then fucking sit on the bench until you grow up and learn to play for and with your team

and that goes for Robins too - grow a pair and stand up to Doug, tell him what isn’t working and what he needs to put it right, unless you don’t know in which case do the right thing and let somebody else come in and sort this shitshow out

agreed but the quality or lack of is a result of confidence mainly and also with the fact we aren’t as good as we think.
