The dynamics of the Club and team have changed totally, we used to be a hard running, tackling, shooting team who never stopped until the final whistle. How many goals and wins after 90 mins in the last couple of seasons? The players are mostly the same and so’s the manager, so is the issue behind the scenes, complete clear out of assistant and defensive coaches and replacements bought in, too many and too guickly? I think so, resulting in no clear game plan or players knowing what to do. The common denominator is the change in coaches.

The list of concerns and issues is too long and last night was poor again. QPR are not a good side. Although it's a point, it was a flat performance lacking any kind of creativity.

EMC £4.5mil
Kitching £4.5mil
BTA £2.5m

£11.5million. EMC money spent on a player for a position which has a superior option, a CB showing no signs of being close to that value and a forward who's only attribute is his athleticism. Couple that with signings like Torp at £1-2mil, Rudoni at £4-5mil who are ok championship players at best and we have wasted the incoming transfer money from the big sales (on current showing). We would have been better incrementally adding to the squad over a period of years and supplementing with quality loans with the potential to buy, i.e Gyokeres, Sheaf and so on. The strategy looks incredibly ill considered and reckless and it's landed us in this position where we cannot move in the market unless players move on, or Gyokeres is sold. We can only hope that this is one huge blip.

If we had genuine aspirations to continually make the playoffs and even gain promotion, the players named, amongst those retained and who still feature heavily (Allen, Bidwell, Da Silva and so on) should have be judged as not at that level. The squad may yet and hopefully will click. The marketing around the club has been a commercial success but nobody in their right mind at the club must genuinely believe that with the players named above, we could be challenging with Leeds, Burnley, Leicester, Southampton and so on. Tapping into the momentum of the club was understandable but being so reckless on current showing with both the marketing and player transfers looks to have completely killed that upward trajectory.

The performance last night is worrying again, the gap between Sheaf and the front two is alarming and glaringly obvious. The O'Hare/Palmer link up has gone and for whatever reason that is how we are now setting up to play. The forwards have very little to no service and when they finally get the ball, the quality is severely lacking. We go through spells of trying the play through the middle and losing it, then revert back to long switched passes from a CB to forwards that refuse to engage with the oppositions center backs and go through that cycle again and again.

There is no better manager for us that Robins based on his achievements to date and what he has dealt with. The position he dragged us up from was far more challenging than the task at hand now. He is absolutely right to temper expectations based on what we have purchased and however hard that is for fans to hear, it is the harsh reality regardless of the figures spent. His job is to stabilise and find mid-table form for us as quickly as possible.

Everyone saying that if we get some old experienced heads in January... If I was King, I'd definitely be a little apprehensive of opening up the purse strings considering what he's been instructed to buy the last couple of years..

I don't believe Robins had no say on the assistant manager position.
I agree on experienced player, although maybe easier said than done.
We've bought in a lot of players for a lot of money, and I'm sure Robins was involved in agreeing all of them. Loans shouldn't have been necessary.
The on the field failure creates all sorts of new pressure and wants that shouldn't have been necessary.

I disagree about the AM position but if Robins agreed to get rid of it then he's more culpable for this mess than I'm currently giving him credit for.

Though I personally don't think he did but that's just my opinion

Such players would cost much less than some of the shite we’ve invested in.

On the plus side, if ever you want to make some easy money, just wait for the team to be announced, then when Luis Binks is announced as playing, put a bit on the opposition to score, and you’re quids in (and hurting the bookies)

Keep doing that for the season, and if we all do it, we could fund a huge piss-up in Lloret to drown our sorrows after a season of absolute shite
In what way was Binks at fault?

We don't get another midfielder in, we're down.

Injuries and suspensions will see to that. Tiredness too.

Much of what has been purchased is more than good enough but the reality is a couple of quality more experienced players like a centre half and a midfielder/ attacking midfielder will inevitably help move the team forward

Weirdly injuries might at least force Robins to play the same team 2 games running

MVE is our season defined in one player. He has gone from the most exciting attacking - and defending - wingback in the division to a totally anonymous robot, scared of his man, unable to do anything positive just praying he doesn’t f up like the rest of them.
Physically painful watching Saito take the piss out of him from the second he came on the pitch

MR was the one who pushed the boat out on Kitching who now can’t get in the team. Binks we saw for a whole season and decided to spend on him too.

He is getting things wrong in a non trivial way as well.
This is why we need to move on and look elsewhere, we can’t carry on with these recruitment decisions any longer.

I don’t know if any manager can sort these players out. Part of me thinks we should let the season play out and then if relegated sack Robins, most of the coaches, offload the shite who took us there then start again with a new manager who is allowed to build the club in his own vision.

You think all we need to do is replace Robins.

I think the club is rotten to the core.

We are not alike.
The club isn’t rotten to the core 😂 We’re in the best position we’ve been in years

We just need a change of direction, starting with the manager and recruitment team.

Were in the worst position we’ve been in for years if you judge by the league table.

Really. There’s not a single player or staff I rate particularly highly. We’ve got a better training ground. Aside from that I’m not sure what’s improved.
Almost certainly making more in commercial revenue, certainly in ticket sales as well. Though these will drop back down with relegation.

In what way was Binks at fault?
Diving into the challenge on half way line leaving the left hand side of defence exposed .
The screen shot attached is from when the ball hit the net, not when the ball was played across, not when the ball was struck for the goal…where the hell is Binks in that defence? He was further forward than Sheaf and Eccles!!

Van Ewijk misses a tackle that leads to a chance, he gets slated, the midfield miss a tackle that leads to a chance, they get slated. Binks (a centre half) recklessly goes into a challenge on the half way line, by the touchline, and ‘oh no, he’s a saint’
But he is obviously immune from criticism

All I’ve quoted beforehand with regards to opposition scoring with him starting a full 90 is fact…not an opinion, just counting

People talk about the commercial operation, but we are still not selling corporate and the kits still arent out on time and we’re still reliant on City fans to sponsor us. We do charge kids an extortionate amount to watch us though.

You said the club is rotten to the core, which would suggest the whole club is, not just because of our league position

If you’re deciding the club is rotten based on a league position, were we rotten last year? And the year before?

We weren’t close to this bad the last two years. And no it’s not just our league position. That’s the problem, it’s the coaches, the support staff, the owner.
