Nice of his team mates but for me it’s
I agreeI get the argument that it's as bad as racism but people have to understand the links to his religion.
He's not saying he's anti LGBTQ he is just not wanting to promote it. He shouldn't be forced too.
If he had a band saying I hate gays that's different. I know alot of religious people that don't hate gays people but just rather not talk about it at all.
For me guehi done nothing wrong. Just like players that didn't kneel cannot be called racist for it

You maybe want to tell Vladimir Putin that, next time you see him.The campaign is supporting LGBT inclusion.
If you refuse to take part then logically you don’t want to support LGBT inclusion.
What does “promote” mean in this context? No one is trying to sign people up to become gay

Weird to use your religion as an excuse for your homophobia.
If we’re just taking mad shit from the Old Testament then I’m pretty sure those football shirts are made with mixed fabrics.
My favourite post on the thread.
Is it right to say you need to respect my religious beliefs, when the religious beliefs are that gay people are subhuman? Being a footballer is more than a job, you're an ambassador.
You are basically going against Islam doctrine there - is that a tad racist?
I have absolutely 0 respect for any religion in terms of institution or concept. Only individuals based on their actions and behaviours, regardless of which god they choose (or not) to believe in, or pray to.
Does that mean player who didnt kneel don't believe black lives matter or that there is no room for racism? The campaign is supporting LGBT inclusion.

That is all fine and dandy - but that is your specific view which you then wish to enforce on other people and is in reality a condemnation of freedom of thought.
What are you talking about? It steers my view and opinion of others. I'm not personally enforcing anything on anyone.
Of all the Americanisms, 'neighbors' bothers me far more than it should.
Well you posed the question "is it right to respect religious beliefs" - you clearly think not if it goes against your own beliefs - so does that not make you a bigot as well?
Beliefs should have been in air quotes, not viewing members of the LGBTQ+ community as equal is not a "belief".
Something similar happened to me but her and her family turned out to be quite important in the Jehovah’s Witness church.I dated a girl once for a couple of months and quickly found out she was a devout Evangelist.
Curious to get an answer to this one @skybluecamDoes that mean player who didnt kneel don't believe black lives matter or that there is no room for racism?

FFS.
Yep brilliantOf all the Americanisms, 'neighbors' bothers me far more than it should.
You seem unwilling to accept Diversity, something we should all celebrate. At least Guehi wore the armband. Morsy is free to not wear it but still makes him a bit of a c**t for refusing considering he has no issue wearing kits covered with gambling sponsors. It's just thinly veiled homophobia.
A captain is supposed to represent his team. His refusal is a slap in the face to any fans, players and staff that are LGBT.
Rainbow Laces: Manchester United scrap plans for LGBTQ+ jacket after player refuses to wear it
Manchester United abandoned plans to wear a jacket supporting the LGBTQ+ community before the Sunday's win over Everton because a player refused to wear it.www.bbc.com
and it continues
Don’t think any refused did they?Does that mean player who didnt kneel don't believe black lives matter or that there is no room for racism?
The far right pretending to care about LGBT rights will never not be funny.
Beliefs can (and should) be questioned.Well you posed the question "is it right to respect religious beliefs" - you clearly think not if it goes against your own beliefs - so does that not make you a bigot as well?
'I could care less'.Of all the Americanisms, 'neighbors' bothers me far more than it should.
Lots have. We (cov) played against teams that didn't do it when we did remember.Don’t think any refused did they?
Obviously, there's loads of denominations within Christianity and differing interpretations.
