Maybe could have took Hamer off (was on a yellow yet again) and moved Allen back to DM and put Jones on at AM
Course you do I’m sure we all do bar grendel who hates robins and AllenTotally get that Pete and for all my frustration on here I still firmly support the players and management.
One of them, still got Luton and Forest in handThat’s the game in hand, isn’t it?
If Robins thought he would make a difference he would have been thrown on long before nowAgainst 10 men when we are struggling for energy all over the pitch I’d say it makes sense
We scored 3
Same happened last season when we had 5 subs. I'll never forget being 3 up against a team and MR not making a single sub then moaning we were tired the next game two days later.Allen for Bidwell
Tavares for COH
Anyone for anyone the most knackered
We’ll be dead on our feet next few games and we aren’t even using all the subs

Not to rest him, just to make sure he didn’t get sent off and us go down to 10 menTo rest Hamer for ten minutes ahead of a two game suspension?
It’s not even about impact just fresh legs. That’s where we’re at with this group now. Extra bodies so badly needed.
Hey Clive isn't that bad!Get this clown off the radio !
Robins may as well not bother naming a bench at all then. He'll be moaning on Tuesday about tiredness, but its his decision to to manage minutes.Would be madness to take a midfielder off for a rookie (presumably lightweight) striker when you’re defending a 1 goal lead.

Shipley will startThe way Allen played when he came on we miss Hamer already
Fadz on for Hyam who was on a yellow. As I said above, there were no other viable subs left.
Agreed! clearly isn't getting any off his missus...miserable twat.Get this clown off the radio !
Exactly.
It's not just about fresh legs. It's about game management.
If we had Waghorn, Kelly, Eccles etc on the bench then yeah make a change
But throwing on Tavares for his debut in a situation like that would be nuts. Hence why it didn't happen.
Fm22 speak that!!fook me, a wins a win.
Sky Blues Talk?Don’t know where they find these callers on CWR. Just full of angry middle aged men like Pete. Breaths out of his arse so that Oggy and Clive can’t get a word in.

Gyo is much better at holding the ball up than Tavares.Even for Gyo who played 2 hours last Saturday, 90 minutes Tuesday and was knackered today?
We'll take the three points all day long but I think our game management was poor when they went down to ten men. Instead of playing steady possession football we gave the ball away far too easily.

Poor performance but it’s the three points which count, need to get another win on Tuesday to put us right in the mix.

I’m sure he prioritised the points on the day over possible fatigue on Tuesday. I imagine there will be a few changes to the starting line up injuries permitting Tuesday and over the next few weeks.
Surely game management means seeing out a tricky game to get the points, which we did?
Yep. Never seen Tavares play but that’s surely a given. Every ball up to Tavares could well come back….. clinging onto a lead away from home is not the time
