Do you not watch Wright?
Very happy with his progress. His assists make up for the goals, although he has been a little unlucky. He pulls defences apart when running at them on the left. Very composed and will only get better.
10/10 for the most clueless post in weeks.
He was bought as a striker. His running at players is a part of it. Very strong on the ball. A natural goal scorer. Sets up a lot of chances.I do indeed. The jury remains out as he was bought as a goalscorer. Jury’s out doesn’t mean shit

Godden is a goalscorer. But he doesn't have all the other attributes that Wright has. Wright has improved and will continue to improve.
I know people are quick to decide we're relegation certainties every season but this year was something else.Oh there’s some fun to be had reading some of these posts

A huge amount of changes including losing two of the best players in the division yet people expected us to be going on an unbeaten run from game one. We had Robins practically pleading with people to give them time but some of the experts on here were calling for him to be sacked.
Whole summer was weird tbh. After years of wanting SISU out people turned on King because he wasn't prepared to give them massive discounts on market rate or access to the squad.
Not sure that is correct. There’s no way Dasilva has enough defensive ability to play in a back 4. The system switch has helped but Bidwell is as big a factor in it as the system itself.Correct.
No stat in his career suggests he’s a natural goalscorer and he looks far better when operating in a wide position

Are they the same stats that told you Robins isn't good enough to be our manager? No stat in his career suggests he’s a natural goalscorer and he looks far better when operating in a wide position

I don't go by stats. I go by what I see. When most were calling him a waste of money they ignored what he was doing. Think it was his first goal that was just instinctive. As in natural.
He's been close to averaging a goal every other game in terms of minutes for the last three and a half years including with us.That’s really an endearing comment to tbe fanbase
no they are the stats that show he isn’t a natural goalscorer
Would you like to explain how your stats show that Wright isn't a natural goal Scorer? That’s really an endearing comment to tbe fanbase

Good post apart from lack of paragraphs.I am a massive fan of Wright, he is constantly in the right positions and yes he has missed a few chances this season but he isn't the only player that struggled at the beginning. All the new players had slow starts and what else would you expect when 8 or 9 new players are all brought in and within 4 weeks have to play a competitive football match against strong teams that haven't had the same number of outgoings and incomings. Wright plays his best football when he is out on the left and without Godden or Simms playing as forwards. If i was Robins, my front 3 would be Wright on the left Kasey Palmer as a false 9 and Sakamoto on the right hand side with O'hare playing behind Palmer. The sole focus is the 4 of them creating space and openings through their really tricky, agile and quick footwork. Simms while he isn't scoring needs to be brought into the team for 25 to 35 minutes per game and coming on for either of the front 3 depending on who is tired. Godden for me really takes away a lot of what makes us such a threat in the final third. As you have seen in many games the sheer work rate and high pressure Sakamoto, Palmer and O'hare put on defenders when trying to win the ball back, Wright has recently started adding this to his game and he will get better and better as the games go on and as the pressure of his price tag slowly is forgotten. No doubt tho, Godden needs to be replaced by someone who will promise you hard work and energy, we also need a central midfield player. Other than that i am really impressed by this new team we have, we have moved away from the 1 or 2 star players and added a really balanced side that suits the players we have.
Nobody can accuse you of sitting on the fence. In summary - most of our fans are at best idiots and at worst arseholes
10 goal involvements now somebody saidYeah, looked a bit lost when he was moved inside yesterday, far more dangerous/effective operating down left of a three
His goal involvements this season must be pretty good now
6 goals 4 assists10 goal involvements now somebody said

It's not unlike saddlebrains to spunk his load early as it wereHow can someone get it so wrong?
6 goals 4 assists
No he has to touch it to count as an assistPresume that doesn’t include him holding off the keeper for kaseys Sunderland goal either. I thought it might actually be one or two more assists on top of that
He's not wrong though. A back 5 someone will push over to cover him. We have improved since Bidwell was the preferred starter in the new shape as Wright doesn't track back fast enough to help out.10/10 for the most clueless post in weeks.
I do feel more confident about us defensively with Bidwell in the left back position. Not saying that De Silva can’t play there, having both competing for the position is a pretty good position to have. Our results and performances have significantly improved with his exclusion from the team. He’s never a standard left back in a back 4
