all players bodies are the same of course, very important to remember that. if one person stays fit the others are faking.

its so simple..

You think he has a good injury record compared to other players then?

My post didn't go down well but I stick by it. Yes I agree with Michael Doyle and all that but I wasn't saying that. No one on here can't say when reda plays he doesn't give his all and his record speaks for its when he does play i mean. We win a lot more. That's a fact.

Now I'm thinking I'm sure it was leyton orient away and he went off after a minute because he put his head on the line and suffered an injury resulting him missing a few months. That's down to his style. That's how he plays.

I don't know the guy personally maybe he is a dick but I also wouldn't pre judge him. I want him to stay and I don't see the harm if he is on fair wages which we know he will be or appearance fees.

Really wouldn't be arsed if Reda left. Can't be carrying around players that can't even play half of our games in a season.

What is the situation now with Reda? Are we still discussing a contract with him while he trains hard? Or, is he sitting in the sun waiting for his agent to do all the hard work.

I'd like him to stay but if he's taking the piss then we should look elsewhere.

It's gone eerily quiet. TM had said that he wanted it done and dusted either way by the early stages of this week. By my reckoning, Wednesday is midweek and Thursday/Friday are classed as the end of the week so we should've heard by now. It doesn't seem dead otherwise I'm sure Andy Turner would've given us the lowdown. Doesn't look hopeful.

He came in last year as club captain , and had that (and concomitant bonus) taken off him after his stupid sending off at Scunthorpe and subsequent injury issues.

During an absence from the first XI he briefed the press that the (then) manager had a problem with the colour of his urine - thus trivialising what is probably a very salient point about refuelling and recovery. Was repeatedly expected to be fit 'in time for the next game' only to be out for another month.

On the whole we looked better with him last season but I'm convinced he cost us nearly as many goals as he scored and against all evidence I still prefer to think that last season should not be a baseline for how we perform this season.

Sometimes WM you just have to spell it out :pimp: (said in jest just in case you do actually think I'm a dumbass!)

Well this is a turn up for the books! This really would be great news. Hopefully - assuming it all goes through - it will be a 2 year deal so we aren't in this position again next Summer!

I wonder if Ann's "Time's Up"? Anyway, that reminds me. All the Comsat 80s albums, 7 Day Weekend, Land, etc are being given the deluxe treatment, out in November.

I love you you big dummy.

If we can get him to sign on a pay as you play contract, or similar, it'll be a great signing.

If we can get 30 odd games out of him (not many players play the whole 46 in a season) I'd say that'll be great going by his previous records. I think 40+ is a bit of a long shot.

Ricketts and Reda at the back should be formidable.

Who would people have at RB and LB?

Head of comms at CCFC Kieran Crowley has just been asked how close we are to signing Reda and replied -

"@KieranCrowley1 - We're closer but by no means done. Still plenty to sort out. #PUSB"

Like what i wonder?

I wouldnt pander to his agent

I'd love to actually listen in on some of these negotiations. I always wonder how they can take so long...normal job salary negotiations are over in a couple of days, and thats with game playing!
