It’s a complete fuck fest - bringing dual carriageways from 3 to 2 lanes, roundabouts restricted - Foleshill road is an inch at a time - coupled with the white elephant HS2 closing the A46 - can you imagine what it’s like for an away supporter coming by car
think if you want to resolve the issue to the point that its safe to have cars an pedestrians leaving en masse at the same time you're looking at making some costly changes to the north west side of the site, the roads and the roundabout.
The club won't be paying for that, doubt the arena would be keen so you're looking to a skint council.
You'd be looking to properly fence off the car parks so pedestrians can't cut through them, I'd get rid of the crowded steps down to the crossing and make a large ramp with a shallow incline (similar to Wembley).
Then remodel the roads so you could make Judds Lane one way in either direction temporarily so when its time to leave all traffic is going away from the ground and remodel the roundabout so you could make it so traffic leaving the ground can turn right onto the A444 (essentially go the wrong way on the roundabout) while pedestrians use the other side of the roundabout.
But thats a lot of, expensive work, so there's zero chance of it happening. Needed it to be better planned out when it was built.

Why is the parking so expensive at the CBS? I paid £4 at Sunderland & Preston and nothing at Blackburn, all within a 20-25 minute walk from the ground.
1. Are they actively actually doing the road repairs? I am in CV6 weekly and it seems progress is non existent.
2. How long do the Council anticipate there will be on going issues for?
3. Why has no one come up with a better plan than leaving 1000s of motorists in gridlock for an hour when they are leaving Tescos by forcing all the traffic that is trying to get to the motorway to turn right into Tescos and go around the roundabout that hundreds are using to try and get away from the game.
Given the issues could there be some debate perhaps about alternatives as the current arrangements seem inadequate but no one seemingly is considering how it might be better.

That’s available outside of the zones anyway. I regularly park 20-25minutes away. Outside the zone. Although I could walk home in 50 minutes so by the time I’ve driven home I’d probably have been quicker walking. It used to be the best part of match day in years gone by.
