Jammy is probably a bit far tbh, they have a great squad at this level, that said they never seem to play that well but they do have quality from front to back which really does make a difference.

We have to be on it to get anything out of these.
My belief is that with a decent manager they would be top in this league by a good few points. Parachute payments meant that they hoovered up the free agents nobody else could easily afford from a wages perspective. They have been playing poorly for a while but keep winning which is more a case of despite Wilder being the manager. They are likely to be promoted . The viewpoint of their fans is that they are not great against sides that have a go at them but generally beat teams who sit back.

They've got a chance of breaking the 100 point barrier, not really sure I agree they could be that much better off.

I think we will actually earn two hard fought draws against Sheffield and Burnley, although if that is going to happen I would rather have a win and a loss, and gain three points instead of two. Out of the two I'd rather beat Sheffield and lose to Burnley, put Sheffield down into third place and the playoffs

Don't know about others mate, but I do care, hence I think he's a wanker. Fucked us about and left us at, let's face it, the only opportunity he got to join one of the most horrible clubs in the football league. I find the hero worshipping of a Sheffield United player beyond embarrassing and small time tbh. But then having seen the Blunt apologism in this thread coupled with the Hamer love-in, I wouldn't be surprised to see a few half and half scarves flying about.
Can you quote the posts that are a hamer love in please tom?

What your doing is making crazy things up and passing it as fact to make your argument stronger.

I used to do it in my troll days. I see you.

I will not speculate as to the result but I will be relieved when we resume regular matches and all these tiresome 'best team since some point in the past' threads die and we get back to football bullshit about the present. 🤭

my mate's a blunt. they think his style of play is boring. but the league isn't a measure of excitement.

Yeah. Difference between being shit to watch and just shit.
There are 3 teams in this league who are streets ahead of the rest and they're one of them.
Having said that, I'm still cautiously optimistic we can get something.

they are also shit scared of not getting automatic promotion, because their track record in the playoffs is so shite.
so it wouldn't surprise me if they start to get a bit twitchy. we need to make sure we go at them. give them something to think about.
if we sit back they will slaughter us.

With us hopefully having Rudoni back , either in the starting 11 , which would be harsh on the team that beat Sunderland so comprehensively , or just on the bench , we have surely a great chance against these & with Frank & his staff doing their homework on the opposition, we are looking so strong & the envy of many a team …. ..& there’s still Sheaf to come !

Hopefully the ref stops that Robinson, or whatever his name is, from maiming all and sundry. One of the dirtiest gits in the league.

It's not a defence force is it? I can't stand Wilder and O'Hare and Hamer can get fucked aswell the people that suck him off are embarrassing

However, take away their points deduction they're literally top of the league

Everyone saying 'winnable' 'this lot are shit' etc are talking bollocks

If we were offered a point now, everyone would snap their hand off. Also our record on Friday night away games is gash,
Me thinks last time we played these thugs on a Friday night at their place we won 2-1 with a Leon Clarke double, and we were shite 😂😂

I dont think people have taken a dislike to him but some fans seem to be calling for him to be played every game even saying Simms should be dropped for him.

clearly Bassette has a lot of potential and no one can knock his enthusiasm and work ethic when he has played but he is very raw and when you actually watch him other than constantly pressing defenders he doesnt actually contribute a lot as hes just constantly chasing shadows. One day he will be a regular first team player but for me at the moment he is no where near starting ahead of Simms or even Asanti
Bassette is being overhyped.

Having said that, I would rather we were playing him than the Ayari as was on loan here.

I haven’t been massively impressed with Sheff U when I’ve seen them, nor does their starting 11 worry me like a Burnley or Leeds. This was their 11 last time out.

Cooper
Seriki Ahmedhodzic Robinson Burrows
Choudhury Peck
Brewster Hamer Brereton-Diaz
Campbell

However they’ve won the most points in the league after 38 games so they must be doing something right.

Fancy us for a point, Wright 1-1.

Agree with everything but the last 2 words. BTA offers nothing more than Bassette for me. And as Bassette has a big future that needs unlocking. So when opportunities arise in the team, Bassette should be getting the nod.

I think Asante offers slightly more than Bassette atm but Bassette will end up being quite a bit better imo. I still think we'll sell Asante in the summer and put the funds in Lampards kitty. He was less useless in a 2 and tbf he won me over a little bit, but if we can get back what we paid and give it to Frank, i think its best for everyone.

Agree on the "less useless in a 2" thing. But Bassette didnt get that opportunity, I'd have liked to have seen that.
