The good news is, he's often so pissed up at the bottom of Leam, if anyone wants to suck him he'd probably let you. @Brighton Sky Blue can direct you to his kebab house of choice.

If anyone on this forum still likes a former player they are accused of wanting to 'suck him off' or of having a 'wankfest'. Odd language to adopt. I don't have sexual feelings for Hamer or O'Hare, I just liked them as players and accept the choices they made. I will respect them for the role they played in our club's progress. It doesn't have to be a big fight.

Mate i don't know what you're arguing against here or why the Hamer fan club thinks all us fans have to really like a Sheffield United player. I don't like any of them or their manager or their fans, I hope this helps.
I'm not arguing. And I hope your not saying im in some hamer fan club

I am just on a mission to civilise.

Not really, there is no fight, people get upset when posters say they don't like Hamer or O'Hare, they actively hunt down those posts and claim a moral high ground as if it's virtuous to love all ex players. People can fawn over them if they wish, but don't expect everyone to do it. It's part of the pantomime of football if anything and part of the fun.

If you're referring to my posts, I can assure you I am not upset and I have never hunted down anyone or any viewpoit on this forum. I am just reacting to what I read, as you were. I claim no moral high-ground. We all have the right to like and dislike whoever we want. I respect your views, I just don't share them. I also don't fawn over any ex-player. I wish they had stayed, I just dont hate them. I also respect your desire to drunkenly fellate any ex-player you wish...

These "people" aren't me so I don't really care. In just telling you both extreme sides of the argument are silly

Just my opinion

I don't fawn over hamer and nor do I hate his guts

Seems curly is the same

It's not aimed at you, there's plenty around. I expect this match thread to get more and more embarrassing in the lead up to the match and i dare not even look at other forms of social media which will likely be worse. I was hoping the embarrassment was out the way after the first time we played these wankers but i'm not convinced its out of everyones system yet.

Would you clap him as he was about to swing in a corner against the team you support?

Call me and old misery guts, but I think we'll lose this one 2-1. Hope I'm proved wrong. 😔

No. I didn't clap mcsheffrey when he came back with Birmingham like some did so it's not my thing. After the game sure if they walked over to the crowd

But at same time I don't wanna send anyone who did to the pits of hell. It's just not that big a deal for me.

Haji will be roughed up by the Sheff U CB's. Wilder will make sure of that. Danger man. Haji seems to know how to look after himself though, and his lesser performances are not based on defenders intimidating him from what I've seen.

I'm just trying to figure out whether you think its more weird to do that or more weird to think that doing that is weird? I'm obviously the latter, i don't think its a controversial take generally but when it comes to Hamer some fans truly lost their minds.

I wouldn't even dream of applauding anyone who moved to Blues either, no one around me applauded McSheffrey at that game, in fact the bloke next to me said he wanted to chop his head off. Way more rational view point.

I think they are both weird to answer your question lol

Just enjoy life 😉

I still have a like and a want for Hamer to do well, as he left us for a move to the Premier League. Add in the fact that him and Vik basically dragged a team of average joes to the cusp of it. O'Hare I dislike on the basis that he moved to a league 'rival' (I use that term loosely tbf). Add in that he strung us all along thinking he might be staying when he knew all along he was gone. A simple view, mind.

In some cases you get contrarians, most cases seem to be people having completely unrealistic expectations of young players, this is more of a modern thing, you barely even used to see players until they were around 22 back in the day i swear. I prefer to see the potential personally and i don't see any comparisons between Bassette and Raphael for example, who is way more of a 'punt' signing.

As for Hamer, i loved him when he was here. But he lead us on and moved to an absolutely loathsome football club, i don't see why anyone should feel obliged to like him tbh. I think he's a fat little shithouse who's wasting his talent as he'd rather have a kebab than put the extra work in. Be 28 by the time next season starts and up to this point his peak is a standout Championship player. Hardly the generational talent some make out.
Do you think his career will be over at 31?

I have no idea why Hamer is adored and O’hare despised. One won a league title with us. It’s crazy

Why is it that some fans are so massively triggered if other fans still like and respect former players? I think that's embarrassing

I've no issue with liking former players

For example, Viktor, still follow him keenly and wish him the best

However as I've said before, Hamer pissed us around all summer and jumped at the first chance of a pay increase he got. He wasn't honest with his plans like Viktor for a start

Also, it's all well and good applauding a former player, especially one of Hamers quality and the memories he gave us

The absolute embarrassment of a reception he got whilst taking a corner AGAINST us was nauseating

Back to Friday night boys & girls …….
Dasilva & his extra pace, over Bidwell , could be vital against their pace .
He isn’t playing badly & could well be another ace in the pack , with Lampard’s magic working wonders ?

Nope, the club also. He literally said offer me 20 a week il sign it

We did, with generous bonuses may i add, he then left it on the table for weeks, didn't sign, and fucked off

Hence my disdain for the section of our fanbase who would genuinely clean his smegma with their tongue

It's mental. He was a phenomenal player for us, one of the best I've seen and clearly likes the club, the fans and area. Will never knock him for any of what he did

But I get wound up by those who absolutely rim him off, when it's well known by those at the club he absolutely mugged us clean off

Least we extracted a good price for him all things considered. Contract length not his fault but O'Hare pissing off on a free to a team in the same league was always going to sting a bit more.

Can't ever imagine fawning over a player who did that to my club, and to piss off to fucking Sheffield United of all places. Each to their own though... in unrelated news I hear cuckolding is on the rise.

Doug did well with the fee and we've reinvested well for sure.
