I can accept to a point lack of ability but what I can’t accept in that first 30 mins from wright is lack of effort. Some of his work rate was shameful at times.Tbf Matty was the only one scoring in the warm up before the game too and tge same on Friday. If they can't beat our 3rd keeper with no pressure on them it's a massive concern. Godden consistently finding the net. In a game his lack of pace still worries me, but can't knock what he's doing. Wright looks like he can't trap it, can't jump to win a header, doesn't press with any real intensity, doesn't get his head up for a pass. Has strength, can work a ball wide, but even if it is early days I'd want to see more from him.
Sheaf out for 6 weeks plus is grim.Robins on CWR:
Didn't start right, wanted to move the ball quickly
Weren't set right, weren't brave enough and too deep
5 of our players were pinned back by 3 of theirs
Could be doing with finishing chances
Feel disappointed by so many poor decisions made
Really disappointing for 2nd goal but Sakamoto isn't a defensive player
Not looking for excuses, will get better
Got to take defeats on the chin
Could have got back into it without suicidal defending
3 poor goals conceded
Looked a bit livelier at 3-2 after the changes
Got to dust ourselves down and go again
Need to make braver passes on the ball rather than passing it around the back going sideways
O'Hare tantalisingly close to returning
We will get better than that
Sheaf will be out minimum 6 weeks
Really missing brave creative players in the middle
Players all seem very quiet in the changing room and in their shells
Lots of things we can do better
I mean that’s almost like God himself is punishing MR for not signing central midfielders.Sheaf out for 6 weeks plus is grim.

The recruitment department will be hiding under their desks this morning at Ryton as I’d imagine not only robins will be asking questions but Doug King will be as well. This club cannot piss nearly £8m up the wall on any player. I hear the give him time message rung out on here but if your paying huge transfer fees you expect a return. The first 30 mins were shocking as he hardly lifted a leg.I likened him to Baka in the last match, he doesn't seem to know what the hell he is doing we may as well have taken a punt on a league 1 or 2 player because he does look an absolute waste of money, Walker would be a better choice than him from what he is showing..He struggles to get the ball under control, amazes himself at having it under control and then gives it away, no press from him at all, hardly gets off the ground with 'attempted' headers cannot hold the ball up wtf were our scouts thinking and paying 7mill fucking hell, I hope to god we paid that much but are only paying him 50 pence a week wages.... fucking rubbish
And yet another key player getting injured in training again just like McFadzean and O’Hare last season. Sick of it.Sheaf out for 6 weeks plus is grim.

That is the worry, there seems to be nothing there, no fight, nothing he is a big lad but just like Baka he is a pussycat, not sure what the hell we are going to do with him but as you say I bet Doug is wanting answers and quick! The recruitment department will be hiding under their desks this morning at Ryton as I’d imagine not only robins will be asking questions but Doug King will be as well. I see absolutely nothing there as a player.
I seen him at the recent event at the sky blue tavern and was slightly concerned that he appeared very nervous and slightly immature for a 25 year old. Struggled with eye contact etc and appeared lacking in confidence as a person. That is the worry, there seems to be nothing there, no fight, nothing he is a big lad but just like Baka he is a pussycat, not sure what the hell we are going to do with him but as you say I bet Doug is wanting answers and quick!
At 25 and nearly £8m, you have to expect Wright to be at the required standard and also shows signs he could be one of the stand out players at this level.
At the moment he looks like one our U21 punts that we're hoping to develop. Many more games like that and you'd start questioning whether Obikwu is closer to the level (and from what I saw in the U21s last year he's nowhere near).
At this moment I just cannot fathom how the scouting dept thought he was suitable, and certainly how on earth they thought that kind of fee was reasonable.
Got a joint song for them like the one we had for Doyle and Kelly.
"Hee Haw Hee Haw 2 donkeys on a See Saw See Saw"
Own Goal is doing quite well to be fair to him. We'll be lucky to get half of Gyokeres' total from last season from these two.
We'll have to put up with him for that long?I reckon we will sell Wright in 2 years time for about £500k.

Deary me.Both looked better than Godden again
Loan him out to a League 2 team to get some confidence first. We'll have to put up with him for that long?
Deary me.
He's got more than them pair put together. When did Godden last score? Feels like March or April
Scraps that the likes of Biamou and Bakayoko would be fat on....How many perfect chances did our midfield create that any of the three should've scored today? Not suggesting they've played well, but all feeding off scraps.
