Think they are naming some of the victims, it's even worse seeing innocent young kids in happy pictures 😔
I know it makes me a coward but I really can't bare to see the victims. Really brings it home.

I don't think anyone is against all migrants, or all Muslims for that matter.
The vast majority of both are decent hard working members of society.

However, there is undoubtedly a small minority who are like the "hate preacher" Abu Hamzer who seek to radicalise young men to carry out acts of terror.
It's these people who need to be caught and removed from our streets.

Unfortunately though, anyone who dares to speak out gets called racist or a bigot by people who some how think the comments made are aimed at ALL immigrants.

Let me make it perfectly clear, any one who lives in peace and works for their living and contributes to society is IMHO welcome.

But if they hate the west, and want to bomb people at concerts, attack our soldiers, rape our women, groom our teenagers, or stab our children to death then they need to be removed from society by any means possible.
so basically you are saying anyone who is a criminal should be in prison?

The authorities will arrest anyone who does any of those things and if they can deport them they do but this person is a British citizen from Cardiff so where do you deport him to?

Also Abu Hamza was arrested almost 20 years ago, found guilty, handed over the USA and is doing life without parole? Do you mean Anjem Choudary? If so he is actually from Welling but he today got a life sentence with a minimum of 28 years to be served.

Seeing the victims with families is ok for me but some of the pictures weirdos put online of victims at the scene. Absolutely no chance 😔

People are using lazy tropes though. They are not saying there is a problem within the Muslim community. I think we all know that

When you make sweeping statements like Muslims are a problem, you are asking for trouble.

No-one is defending bad people. I don't want them over here as much as the next person

But it's unfair to make these sweeping generalisations.

One reason I always come to the defence is, as I said before, one of my best friends is a Muslim. I also said I worked with someone, who was a top bloke and fought for the British army. Again, Muslim.

Plus, my missus' boss is a Muslim. He came over here on a boat many years ago, with nothing. He was welcomed in and has gone in to forge a good career and a healthy business.

And get this, he says he will forever be grateful for what the British did for him and he gives money to charity every week and once a week, takes the day off and goes and helps out at a soup kitchen, feeding the homeless.

Do people want him out too?

Nobody disagrees with this apart from your first sentence.

Going on the streets to protest about migrants because of this event, lumping Muslims together in a block and suggesting they play the victim, wishing death on all Palestinians... they're fine examples of notalright.
We live in dark times, too much hatred and killing in the world.

Or readers need to think before jumping to rediculous conclusions and throwing round the usual hate words.

This is what I have said multiple times. There needs to be a middle ground discussion.

"Muslims are terrorists"
"Anybody who agrees with Tommy Robinson on something is a racist"

Its just not constructive, is it? I get that people might assume that other people can read their mind when they say "immigrants" but if it's clearly specified then there's no chance for the reply to be "my doctor is an immigrant".

Otis summed it up better about how being clearer helps.

Do we have to report this one for it to be dealt with or is vigilante justice against minorities something that's ok?

seriously!!. for having a different opinion to most on here, not bending to woke brigade like you lot are.

you lot have me down as a racist, you couldn't be further from the truth, i could do more for this country in one day than this and the previous government have done in 15 years because i care about this country and my family and what sort of shithole we are going to leave them.

This "gang" thing just doesn't float for me.

1) It would be weird if on the forum of a team who play in a city with a a massive majority Labour council, 3 Labour MPs with 5 figure majorities and a strong union presence there was not a majority of people with left leaning views

2) The left are the first to tear each other down.

He sounds like just the kind of person we should welcome with open arms.

Personally I don't take it literally when people say it's "muslims" that are the problem, I take it as the fundamentalist minority (Who are undoubtedly a problem) and not the vast majority.

But just like the west when we invaded the middle east under Tony Blair, not all British people supported the illegal war and hated Arabs.

Genuine question, what can you do that is more than the government can do?

It really does . Sweeping statements can often be dangerous.

We all know there are extremists within the Islamic faith. No-one has said there isn't.

It's a problem. Do we stop all boats? Even the ones were people are escaping persecution?

Something has to be done for sure. But all the scaremongering and pitchfork grabbing doesn't help.

Migration can be a good thing. It needs to be handled properly though.

Without migrants the NHS would implode and the care system too.

Well. It wasn’t from a leftie for a start ha ha

You obviously have misunderstood my post. Can’t be arsed to go over it
Just for the record I wasn't aiming the "leftist" comment at you.

Think we had crossed wires there 👍

And this particular 'debate' isn't even left Vs right!

Like I said, it's pretty obvious as on other subjects I've had people trying to get me to say things and trying to fire me up to agree with them. After a decade or however long and a weird brain, patterns get noticed.

Now, if you were wearing a blue dress and I said the red one looked prettier and you disagreed, then that would be a difference of opinion. You saying "hitting the streets and driving home our feeling toward migrants and the government, this cannot go on" is blatant hatred, not a difference of opinion.

For what it's worth I bet you'd look pretty in whatever dress you decided to wear.

No it’s not helpful to call everyone you disagree with racist.

Somehow though the actual racists have decided that that includes them and they spout the most horrible racist shit.
Yup and I am not the type to shout out racist at people.

I actually said to GIMOC that he might wish to retract that statement. Was giving him the opportunity to rethink what he said, but it just opened up a can of worms and he just carried on regardless

No idea how anybody has come to that conclusion...

all the problems in this country are migrant related, has been for years
what's boiling my piss is no picture of this c##t and the media are doing there best to smooth things over, when in reality we should be hitting the streets and driving home our feeling toward migrants and the government, this cannot go on

I agree but sadly I wonder if they would have been charged.

Even the people who tried to stop it and got injured are heroes. You never know how many kids managed to get away because if them.
I would suspect they could use the defence of self-defence, and their actions would probably be regarded by a reasonable person as being proportionate to the circumstances.
There was an eye-witness being interviewed yesterday, not long after the hideous events, who said that "the boy was lucky the police turned up when they did - he would have been lynched if they hadn't". Summary justice, which would, i hope, have been meted-out no matter what the colour of his skin or what he was wearing.

The horrific person he has turned into has been moulded in this country
Absolutely, but the authorities need to find out how and where he got "moulded" and by whom and for what purpose.

And more importantly who else is out there likely to do similar acts.

I disagreed with Nick about being in a gang, but I'm more than happy to admit being in the "Woke Brigade".

I get that dealing with people with opposing views to you is tough after you proudly tell everybody you dont speak to people with different political views but I was explaining why what he posted was bullshit and why it was very much wrong.
