Good job I never made the joke about a dozen then!
But Let's remember this lad for a long time!
Is it really best to police after the fact no matter the crime, damn can't help myself for prattling on!

I have always loved squad numbers. They provide a neat way to list and admire the squad's evolution across the seasons. I don't mind the odd player with an unusual number (Hamer in 38; Palmer in 45) but hope fervently it doesn't become the norm.

I wish Binks was in 5 or 6.
Rudoni should be in 16, 18, 19 or 20, given that Allen has bagsied 8. A Zidane-Real Madrid thing?
Time for Eccles to come in from his original breakthrough 28.
What's up with Torp in 29? Another fetish number?
I also hope the likes of Howley (36), Obikwu (49) or Dausch (59!!) don't end up with those numbers for as long as they're at the club, but fear the worst...

For what it's worth Preston have done a brilliant job this season rearranging their squad numbers. An example to us all.

Raphael is under 21 as well

Not sure he counts? I think they have to be home grown, any nationality but have to be registered at a club in England or Wales for 3 years before they are 21.

The rules are quite complex. It is like when you loan a player, they may only be 18 but count as part of your 25 senior players.

Have I gone mad?

I swear they'd released the squad numbers including development squad on the offal when I looked at work earlier. Get home and it's disappeared. No-one has linked to it on here either, which usually happens.

Unhinged but equally I completely agree with everything he said!

Shouldn’t be allowed to start a season with 1-11 not filled up imo.

Sunday League rules should apply and the starting 11 are by default numbers 1-11.
We could have Jude Bellingham in the team, but if he's number 12, sorry you're on the bench
