Derrick Robins and the rest of the board were on a 1960s photo.Jimmy Hill when he was chairman and Bryan Richardson were also on in later years.

One photo that had me and my mate howling was a photo in The Pink of the bench at Selhurst Park, maybe , early to mid ninety's I think. (My memory's terrible so I might be wrong on the ground)

It named all the players and coaching staff on the bench, on the end was the coach driver who they named as well!

He had more right to be on the bench than Ken Dulieu, at least he had "Coach" in his job title.

Sure he wasn't just a coach with the surname Driver?

You'd kill for Turners job some days. A day sat there playing guess who between the website and the squad photo, then a 10 minute write up. Tough days graft.

People mainly object to threads when they have an issue with the subject matter. I don't think anyone is having a go at King or diminishing what he has done for CCFC. People, like me, are simply pointing out that it's a bit, well, odd. Nothing more.

Is this true? Hill as chairman in the club photo? I certainly wouldn’t be surprised had Bryan Richardson done it but I can’t actually find any evidence of it.

Poynton was pretty low key as a Chairman. It should be easy to find a squad photo he was in if he did it.
