Sure he wasn't just a coach with the surname Driver? One photo that had me and my mate howling was a photo in The Pink of the bench at Selhurst Park, maybe , early to mid ninety's I think. (My memory's terrible so I might be wrong on the ground)
It named all the players and coaching staff on the bench, on the end was the coach driver who they named as well!
He had more right to be on the bench than Ken Dulieu, at least he had "Coach" in his job title.
no its not, i thought you were a teacherI mean that’s a literal contradiction in terms but ok
Certainly is. Miserable but simultaneously happy about complaining?no its not, i thought you were a teacher
Not a contradiction at all.Certainly is. Miserable but simultaneously happy about complaining?
Owners that had us playing in Northampton and Birmingham was bad enough, but this really is a step too far.
Maybe the point is…if some people seem perennially unhappy, there’s something else going on rather than it being a character trait. Not a contradiction at all.
its actually pointing out the irony that some people only feel satisfied when they're complaining. If they don't have something to bitch about, they get miserable. It's not about happiness in the traditional sense—it's about finding contentment in their discontent. It's a paradox, yeh, but not a contradiction...there's a difference
Well we don't know what his personal situation is do we?I’m finding it more odd that Dasilva isn’t in the official squad photo.
Nothing unusual about this,Chairman have been on team photos for decades.
Derrick Robins and the rest of the board were on a 1960s photo.Jimmy Hill when he was chairman and Bryan Richardson were also on in later years.
Our fans moan about anything
No we don’t though, do we though?Well we don't know what his personal situation is do we?
Who’s who as Coventry City backroom nears playing squad numbers
Coventry City news from Coventrylive as we look at the history behind the club's official team photographwww.coventrytelegraph.net
Answer who all the backroom staff are.
Our past chairmen, owner etc have been in previous squad pics over the decades.People mainly object to threads when they have an issue with the subject matter. I don't think anyone is having a go at King or diminishing what he has done for CCFC. People, like me, are simply pointing out that it's a bit, well, odd. Nothing more.
They have.I think people are moaning about this because the team haven’t started the season well. Our past chairmen, owner etc have been in previous squad pics over the decades.
Maybe so. Still think it's odd.Our past chairmen, owner etc have been in previous squad pics over the decades.
and they probably need to focus on fixing that and managing their chimp rather than just slagging off coventry city all the timeMaybe the point is…if some people seem perennially unhappy, there’s something else going on rather than it being a character trait.
So on what basis do you think it’s odd if you agree it’s been going on for decades ?Maybe so. Still think it's odd.
So on what basis do you think it’s odd if you agree it’s been going on for decades ?
So on what basis do you think it’s odd if you agree it’s been going on for decades ?
So other clubs do it, we have been doing it for decades and you think it’s odd ?All kinds of odd things have been going on for decades. It’s the incidence compared to the total population of football clubs that makes it odd, not when it first appeared.
I wouldn't have liked it but then again what could we have done about it if she had.Would you accept Joy Seppalla sat in a squad photo yes or no?
I can recall Jimmy Hill, Poynton, and Richardson all doing it.I think "going on for decades" is a bit of a stretch. Why not show us all the times it's happened over the decades.
I wouldn't have liked it but then again what could we have done about it if she had.
I can recall Jimmy Hill, Poynton, and Richardson all doing it.
another poster said Derrick Robins did it too.
is 50 years long enough ??
Please tell me your not this stupid. So four times in 50 years? Hardly the norm then? Nothing against King at all. He's improved our club no end over the last couple of years. As I said l though, it's an odd thing to do.

5 pages?
Feck there is another one in October.Ban international breaks.
It’s been happening since 1883So four times in 50 years? Hardly the norm then? Nothing against King at all. He's improved our club no end over the last couple of years. As I said l though, it's an odd thing to do.
I'm not talking about the number of owners we've had, but the number who thought their place was in the centre of a squad photo. Please tell me your not this stupid.
owners have owned the club for multiple years ….
so 5 owners can easily span 30 or 40 years …..
Feck there is another one in October.
