It's going to depend on your prejudices isn't it? The crowd seemed very supportive of the project overall and like I say, if you go in believing in the stadium it's all believable.
Did they check you in, how did you get entry?
Garlick said she doesn't know the budget (which is another thing).

Yes, many thanks to Shmmee.
Very interesting.
Taking aside the obvious... did you get the sense she wasn't overly well briefed if she was leading a consultation? It goes back to the earlier thing that from the tidbits, it seems a bit of an odd thing to do to consult without any parameters on what's possible and what isn't.
Or is that an unfair assessment?
So what actually was discussed about the stadium?
so did no one try and ask about FOI reports?
I'm genuinely amazed that anyone, including those presenting, think a stadium will be built, especially after today's FOI reports. Incredible.
so did no one try and ask about FOI reports?
Nope.
The fact that not one person mentioned the FOI requests tells you exactly what type of audience this was.
Like I say. I don't think she's in cahoots with Fisher. More that she's a genuine fan who believes in the project. They do exist.
Really not not sure how or when people would've asked. It was made clear from the start we couldn't talk location as none of them knew it.
Thanks Shmmee!
So they want it only for football? Even Highfield Road managed to put the odd concern on. Didn't Lou Lou and Elton perform there before it closed?
Admittidly the Ricoh (I think) was always designed to be more of an exhibition centre than a football ground, but surely they need to look at additional ways to bring in revenue? After all this complaining of making no money through extra event. / F & B etc. Are close-season events such a bad thing? Bet they bring in a fair £
Another point picked up on is the issue of the seats colours; the players complain? Really? Not a subtle way of saying we may not always be 'The Sky Blues'? Or am I reading too much into that!
After all, the only thing apart from the club badge at the Ricoh was the colour of the seats matched our club colour.
Definitely agree about fans having a say on where away fans sit. One poor decision at the Ricoh was where they were located!
As for Stadium designs we 'like', I think a model like Rotherham would be ideal. Not too sure if that kind of saptadium is 'expandable' to the capacity they've stated tonight.
The fact that not one person mentioned the FOI requests tells you exactly what type of audience this was.
What answer would you expect?
That question should be directed to Fisher or other persons within the club.
Re: the seats. Was more a "here's an example of the kind of feedback we've had and what we can influence" than any firm plans. I think she meant it's something we may want to talk about.
Based on what has been asked and answers given, I doubt anyone asking a question around the FOI requests would have walked away knowing anymore so I don't see it being an issue, and certainly don't see it giving away "what type of audience" was there.
Would have been a 'we can't comment on that' or 'we don't know' I suspect
a CBRE representative was there, surely they would be the best people to ask. ML and TS seem to have gone camera and radio shy, very out of character. especially for ML, he's been on a PR crusade the last few weeks.

This modular idea is ridicules. 99% of the time, including when we were in the prem 15000 is enough seats, when we get a big game the need for 30000 is needed, then the week later back to 15000 so can the cup draw be done 6 months in advance??? Lol if not what's the point of ever expanding? May as well piss off 15000 people and lose the money they would bring maybe two
Or three times a year?

Or.......
Like I say. I don't think she is a fascist. More that she is a German nationalist who believes in her country. They do exist.
Sorry I'm away with work. Now in hotel room. I have had a drink.
They are lairs.
