I'd be in favour of this, it's out of control. pretty much every game there's applause for someone now and the vast majority of the time you have no clue who the person was. People start clapping and everyone near me starts looking at each other like are they clapping something that has just happened that we missed or are we supposed to be clapping something.But I think the club need to put a message out that from next season any tributes/applauses during the 90 mins of football will not be encouraged and should be limited to a moment of reflection before kick off and/or the annual remembrance fixture
If it's a significant enough event do it before kick off, if not just get on with the game.
