Everybody demanding King comes out of hiding and explains the decision on why MR has been relieved of his duties maybe read this ^

Be honest, Take the sentiment away of the last 7 years and look at the performances of late, it hasn’t been good enough.

Whether that blame lies on MR, The players, Dr Claire etc is another question but it hasn’t been good enough.

I can count on one hand how many times we’ve played well this season, last night..I’m sorry you could see after 5 minutes we were going to lose that game. I’ve seen less stray passes down the memorial on a Sunday than what I seen last night, from both teams I might add. I’ve seen more tactical awareness as well. The lack of plan B, the standard 60 minute subs and hope for the best, the blatant signs that teams have worked out how to play against us. It’s all there to see.

We’re Coventry city, we always start slow. Just wait til after the international break. Still waiting 17 games in with no real signs of improvement.

Thank you MR for the past 7 years, you will forever be remembered as a legend but all good things come to an end.

Regardless of this decision at least King is going to turn up at a fans forum to take all questions. He’s not done a hit and run here. A lot of chairmen would make a decision like this and not talk directly to fans openly.

Would like him to be asked what our coaching setup is and who oversees it.

We don’t have a director of football so who sits above the Head Coach other than Doug and therefore makes the decisions on the setup. Are the performance director, Head of Recruitment and Head Coach all at the same level in the structure?

Lots of discussion on the new setup and whether MR was on board with it. Think it would clear a lot up if Doug explained how it works.

Genuinely Pete needs to stand down his role.

He’s acting like an anti owner type from the trust. He doesn’t represent anyone on here and his ego as well as character naivety means he should not attend the meeting.

Why? New to the forum but seems to ask the questions asked respectfully. Gets the mins, haven’t seen him act in a bad way.

He is saying we should boycott 15 minutes of the next game

What gives him the right to suggest that

it’s not a fans forum though

supporters club have to pay for the privilege. he has asked for questions to be submitted in advance

You would think by the press release it would be a proper fans forum. not a select few

he backed out of media duties today because of the backlash

I would ask, whilst understanding that recent results have not been up to the levels expected of fans and the club, however by your own admission we had a “fantastic manager at the helm of this club” who in 2023 you gave a new four year deal too. What has changed to enable you to make this decision so quickly and ruthlessly?

The alternative.

Have it as a free for all, Ends up in a shouting match, who can get the most riled up and it all kick off.

Understandable all things considered, let’s be honest, you’ve seen our fanbase right!?

I could understand boycott if it was a Eustace type situation where we flying but considering the bad run whilst it's annoying and unfortunate there is not really grounds to protest a owner decision I don't think

Sorry Pete, as an "Official representative of Sky Blues Talk" Herr Grendel has decided you're not allowed any more opinions on the club or how it's run. You must be a faceless, thoughtless representative or be stripped of your role.

Fuck me Grendel you've always been an odious little toad but fucking LOL this one takes the cake.

The manner in which the decision was made
The fact it is made in November of the first bad season
The press release and now hiding from the media behind a closed doors fans forum
Even Tim Fisher had the courage to open up the doors of the holiday inn in Walsgrave and face the music

very over dramatic

have you ever been to a fans forum? we had many with fisher at our worse times. the people who attend these are proper fans. Not the Twitter type. passions were high but never any trouble

he said in his press release it would be a fans forum. it’s clearly not. It’s an invite for groups who pay £20,000 a year and is a regular fans forum not out the ordinary

I thought he represented this forum so surely should ask those members who go to games agree with this?

Cant believe im agreeing with GIMOC. But he’s bang on here. Went to a few of the Tim Fisher ones, there werent even a hundred people there. Handed a microphone around and answered questions. A fans forum on this topic, promised in a statement like it was should be open to all.

Pete, if you want a sensible question then ask "Are you looking at complimenting the new head coach roll but also appointing a sporting director/director of football to ensure that all footballing decisions are made by footballing people?"

I also agree with @GIMOC

A fans forum should be open to all, not just the representatives of a few select groups who may not wat to upset the club too much unless they lose their seats at the forum.
