With respect you are not answering the question are you
With respect I asked first and I’m still waiting for a reply.
Also I thought people knew what they voted for. If you didn’t release that when you voted leave you voted to leave the free trade deal that is the EU and therefore set up 27 borders then you clearly didn’t know what you voted for. Throw into that mix the 40 FTA’s that the EU has (the ones Fox has failed to replicate) with other countries and groups that totals up to another 70 countries then by voting leave you’ve voted for 97 borders in total.
Boris has become very Kim Jong-un esq blaming everyone else while failing to take on the responsibility of the problem. That makes you SBT’s very own Ri Chun-hee.
What does "taking control of our borders" mean?Oh Tony you are SBTs own Greta Whatshername feebly attempting to be well informed
It’s November 1 and it is Brexit day - whose putting up border controls? Of course it’s your EU buddies isn’t it?

Again we voted to leave, that means we voted to put up borders. You’re witnessing the reality of what you voted for. You can be childish and pretend that isn’t the case if you like which is exactly why I refer to you as Ri Chun-hee.
But we are not putting them up Tony what do you think is happening here? Barbed wire and fence posts with sentries from a war film. We are not going to do a single thing - nothing
Do you have any actual idea of what you voted for? Where have I remotely suggested barbed wire and watch towers? I understand what a border is in the sense of trade. You’ve voted for 96 trade borders we haven’t had for decades. How can the consequences of an instruction you gave the British government to do be on anyone other than yourself. We’ve not been evicted from these trade deals we volunteered to leave.
Tony whose putting the border up and what is it? Who on November 1 will stop the flow of cargo from the north to the south
Of course I know what I voted for and frankly NI was not occupying any of my thoughts. It still doesn’t
It’s a direct consequence of what you voted for in June 2016. If you’re looking for an individual to blame for 97 borders going up on November 1st all you simply have to do is look in the mirror. You’ve put it up along with everyone else who voted for this mess.
In admitting that Northern Ireland didn’t occupy any of your thoughts only confirms that you didn’t know what you voted for. If you did you would have considered the consequences of your vote and that can only mean that Nothern Ireland had to occupy your thoughts. You’ve just admitted making an ill informed decision.
No Tony it does not as my belief is the centralisation policy of Europe will continue to gather pace.
We know they have a habit every ten years or so of introducing treaties which can at a stroke reduce or eliminate our veto
They want fiscal and economic centralisation and military centralisation - the club want its way. It’s built to benefit Germany at the cost of others.
It’s not a free trade arrangement it’s far more and it’s not a prove I want to pay thanks.
OK Ri. Were you wearing a pink Chosŏn-ot and bouncing up and down on your chair like an overexcited child who’s just heard Santa is coming while typing that.
Have you been spending your thousands of Euro’s on cheap french plonk Tony? Careful you will miss your yearly treat to the Solana if you don’t save any
So no replies to my other posts? What a surprise....You really should get in touch with the Home Office to tell them they’re wrong.

So what do these 96 borders consist of? What do they consist of for those countries in Europe that are not in the EU? Why can't there be a trade deal with us and the EU?It’s a direct consequence of what you voted for in June 2016. What trade deals has the UK done so far?OK Ri. Were you wearing a pink Chosŏn-ot and bouncing up and down on your chair like an overexcited child who’s just heard Santa is coming while typing that.
The EU is just 27 countries by the way. As I’ve repeatedly pointed out to you you voted to put up 97 borders not 27.
Don’t really drink. Just got back from a two week holiday and had the grand total of 5 pints and on five different nights too. Brought back €360 plus change as well so hopefully I’ve already got a better rate than I will have next year for the first of my two holidays I take every year. Never been to Solana, can’t say I’ve ever heard of it to be honest. Is it nice? Do you recommend it?
I’d say it’s right up your street
You too can stay at the Solana Hotel featured in Benidorm - all you need to know
I did love the car crash interview Jo Swinson Delivered on Channel 4
What borders? Still not answered any questions as usual I see.Not good reading is it for three years work. So from voting to put up 97 borders we’ve reduced the number to 85 in 3 years. Surprising really seeing as the bloke responsible for it repeatedly said this was going to be easy.

And why is it you count the countries with trade deals with the EU but a collection of countries counts as one country when you are looking at the UK?
I suppose that you will be saying that none of the countries in the EU would want a trade deal with us if we leave the EU next.
And how are the borders around Switzerland doing? They are not in the EU but have a trade deal agreed with us to be implemented as soon as we leave the EU.
Only for the rabbit in the headlights. But you’re concentrating a process that normally evolves over years and decades to happen over night. A step change of that magnitude is crazy.

That is the exact same thing that, I think it was Bernard Ingham said on the radio when asked how Maggie would have approached the issue. He said exactly that - she would have provided a clear message that any hard border would only be erected by (& at the general cost of) the EU.He’s also said the uk will not put any border checks in place so Varadker will be the one putting up the fence
I’d say there is now a very high probability we will leave on October 31
...but have the power to create such a mechanismSo illegal immigrants will be able to cross the border into the UK from Ireland and we’ll have no mechanism for sending them back. How will Varadkar have to deal with that?
I'll dumb down the questions for you then.I don’t get your first point at all.
Or your second.
I hate to be the one to break it to you but Switzerland has a trade agreement and a number of bilateral agreements with the EU.
If you’re looking for a comparison for a hard brexit relationship with the EU you need to be thinking somewhere like North Korea. Which is apt as we have a PM who’s very Kim Jong-un esq.
Or non UK passport departures from NI join the international queue. There is an adequate filter...increases employment at NI airports too.Of course no deal would be terrible for Eire but how’s having no border going to stop uncontrolled illegal immigration into the UK? Unless arrivals from NI join an international passport queue, imagine how the DUP would react to that!
You just don't have a clue.
So those other countries in Europe that are not in the EU have put up borders?
It means we have the power to put one up if, when & where we decide we want one on our territory. What does "taking control of our borders" mean?

You keep looking for problems...the government is now finally in solution mindset & mode.

Try answering questions for once.

Those that choose to not have a UK passport will have to either get one or stand in the other queue then won't they? Not all NI citizens have a UK passport? Yeah the government has loads of solutions hahaha!
