I still think we should stay in the EU even though we have found out how crooked those who run the EU are. But I am like all the leaders of the countries in the EU and want change. And it isn't going to happen when thise who run the show don't want anything to change other than a firmer grip.Perhaps the UK should join schengen too then?
They always do unless they find a line they can twist. He (& his squad) simply ignore the posts that prove them wrong.

Only for the rabbit in the headlights.
It is a change of huge magnitude, one which happens every few generations or so. Like last time was probably when we joined the EEC. Requires a change in mindset. Change being the key word. Too many people are spooked by it.

See? There you go again!
This time last year you & ypur mates were moaning because there were none. Now we have some you trivialise them. It is a gradual process...it takes time. These deals are proof that they can & do & probably will continue to happen!
The bloke you mention didn't qualify or quantify the 'easy' thing either. Fact is there are deals done, & others in process.
You just keep on crying in your sangria though. Others who you revel in ridiculing as being incompetent are in the meantime getting on with the jobs in hand.

I'll dumb down the questions for you then.
What borders are they that you keep mentioning?
We will have a trade deal with Switzerland. Switzerland are not in the EU but have a trade deal with the EU. What kind of border is there around Switzerland? What will happen to the goods from the UK to Switzerland?
North Korea? I see you are struggling a bit now.
It means we have the power to put one up if, when & where we decide we want one on our territory.

Not all NI citizens have a UK passport? Yeah the government has loads of solutions hahaha!
...but have the power to create such a mechanism

You just don't have a clue.
So those other countries in Europe that are not in the EU have put up borders?
Or non UK passport departures from NI join the international queue. There is an adequate filter...increases employment at NI airports too.
You keep looking for problems...the government is now finally in solution mindset & mode.

Those that choose to not have a UK passport will have to either get one or stand in the other queue then won't they?

Wow. So you’d be willing to go against the Good Friday Agreement? And! you’d still make UK citizens show passports when moving around the UK?
Which ones specifically are you talking about? You’ve only mentioned Switzerland by name and as I’ve already pointed out to you they have a free trade agreement with the EU and a series of bilateral agreements.
And they’re in Schengen
Something has to give, they will find a way to accommodate it. And no, UK passports would do as they do nowWow. So you’d be willing to go against the Good Friday Agreement? And! you’d still make UK citizens show passports when moving around the UK?

Well that's a very thorough, considered and well-explained solution.
Or to sum it up "we'll wing it". Great way to consider something that had a history of decades of unrest, military presence, terrorism, murders and people scared to leave their homes. If we do what you're suggesting people WILL die in the unrest that follows.

When I go anywhere in the EU except elsewhere in the UK - I have to show, or at least be ready to show, my passport. So you’d just break one of the key aspects of the Good Friday agreement?
Wow
How would you distinguish who is in which queue without doing passport checks?
If it wasn't for the kind of positive thinkers that showed perseverance & patience throughout history, the moaning neg-heads such as yourself would not be enjoying many of the things you readily take for granted. Even down to the keyboard you spout your negativity on!Come on mate, try to use the power of positive thinking. Bedsides, all of the benefits will be well worth it if that happens anyway.

There is no difference.

Well there is because Northern Ireland is in the UK and the likes of the DUP are not going to be happy with having to show passports to move round the UK.

It’s a curious argument. You seem to suggest the bombs and the bullets have greater rights than the ballot box
No. I'm saying that bombs and bullets will be the result of the ballot box with the dismissive way too many are considering the NI issue.
