No one thinks that. Stop making it up. Simple economics tell you brexit will get a good deal. It will be a free trade deal and this benefits the EU just as much as UK. Common sense is the phrase.
The notion that the EU is about to give the UK whatever it wants (as was claimed on here and by a few MPs) due to the German car industry, is even more laughable.

I repeat we are their biggest and most profitable market in the world. It's very simple.
If the profit margin is so high, then they can absorb the tariffs and still make a profit here whilst turning there attention to building up new markets. In the end they will be better off than now. Your new Italian neighbours will still be able to afford German cars.
We've had fm Italian family move in over the road. Spoke to them tod7ay for the first time. Lol poor old sick boy will be spitting buckets if he hears what they said and their primary driver for moving here.

The thing is the industry leaders of the German car producers have said they will give us no assistance and it's still not believed. Even if they did want to give us special treatment it only takes 1 vote from somewhere like Lithuania to scupper the whole thing as the whole 27 have to agree on the deal. We are not going to get favourable terms and are going to end up worse of because of this. The longer it goes on the more apparent how much of a mistake it is.

If their biggest market is the EU rather than the UK, who won't they upset?I don't know the answer but It's not the point either way. The point is German car companies sell and make a lot of money in the UK. That's the point.
