Try reading the article instead of assuming what it said. It was nothing to do with flying rights it was to do with components made in the U.K. for the aero industry. Currently they’re certified for use under the EU’s EASA license. If we leave with no deal British made components will no longer be certified to fly, thus grounding aircraft. Worldwide, not just in the EU and U.K. So basically we need to maintain access to EASA for British made aero components, this can’t be done in a no deal situation.
Oh yes. A smart move for Juncker and his EU buddies to make.

Now tell.me that it isn't bribery.

No it isn’t. What trade deal have we asked for? The red line isCU and SM... from May. CU and SM is what the EU wants, or a workable alternative. Simples.
Free trade. But we are not allowed to talk about trade. But you know that.

Which part of the government?

Well I don't consider myself as anything other than average intelligence - & I've sussed it. So as the govt have armies of civil servants gathering & scrutinising - I would be astounded if any part of the govt were not aware.

Well we do know as the EU visited 71 importers in China and are starting beef exports to China before us.
6 countries to start with - Ireland & France are two of the 6. Britain I doubt was included in the initial batch...so it could be a case of Britain actually gaining by 3yrs.

UK has had 2 years and still doesn’t know what it wants. Still May is visiting Merkel now, so maybe she can ask for advice.
Yes...I'm not absolutely convinced that May is the best person to seek advice from but Merkel will do anything to retain power...just like any politician

Are we talking about the same thing? Secondary migration is what the talks are about. Brexit is not a priority as the U.K. has yet to say what they want as a future relationship with the EU. Should be interesting tomorrow.
What a load of bollocks. It is clear what we want. But Juncker won't let us talk about it.

I think that Austria is chairing the EU for 6 months starting from now, so they will be setting the agenda. They have said they want more details of Germany‘s plans. The SPD has yet to make their input. I should wait until Plans have been approved before you jump in.
I am merely doing what you do. Read/hear something & it forms part of the debate...given Reuters is pretty widely acknoweldged as simply reporter in a neutral fashion (I sense you will dispute that). No real political allegiance

No deal will be a major calamity for the UK.... be careful what you wish for...
I would prefer to tell Juncker and his cronies to fuck off than to bow to their demands if they are unreasonable.

Oh yes. A smart move for Juncker and his EU buddies to make.

Now tell.me that it isn't bribery.

For it to be bribery Junker would have to be responsible for two things. 1) The certification system for aero components. He isn’t 2) responsible for our decision to leave the EU. Which he isn’t. This is to do with international standards and certification. In a no deal situation we’ll just have to get certified elsewhere. No doubt at time and cost but at the end of the day it was our decision to leave and things like this are the reality of it rather than the pipe dream some were sold. Something else Junker isn’t responsible for but no doubt you’ll imagine some elaborate way to blame him.

Your obsession with Junker seems to have robbed you of clarity.

The 9 bn was in February and came with this caution:

„But Brexit has unnerved Beijing, concerned about losing an important voice supporting free trade in the European Union and what it may mean for market access to Europe for Chinese firms which have invested in Britain.“

This was said without knowing the final Brexit deal. So we don’t know what clauses are in the deal or what effect Brexit will have on those Chinese firms in Britain.

It's unnerved a lot of people. But given you knew a out the £9billion in February...I don't know why you asked the original question.

You seem to accept everything the EU/Germany says without exception & everything the UK says with negativity & suspicion.

If it’s clear what we want why is the government locking itself in Chequers tomorrow to try and thrash out exactly what it is that we want? We don’t know, that’s the whole point.

Are you happy with Juncker?

Are you happy with the way he told us publicly a few days before the Brexit vote that we wouldn't be getting any talks or meetings to do with our concerns. This most probably cost us the remain vote.

Are you happy about the billions lost to tax fraud each year because of Juncker?

Well Britain is going to be popular. What ever happened to our image? Cool Britannia and all that?
Britain won't be asking them for anything. They like our tourism...worth a lot of money to them, so I dou t they will think too harshly of us

Are you talking about the comments he made back in April? Bit behind the times aren’t you. But seeing as you brought it up how do you think defaulting on the divorce bill will stand us with the rest of the world? Do people normally line up to do deals with people who default on payments? How do you think it will effect our credit rating? Do you think it will effect the rates our government borrow at?
Says one of the people that refers to stuff said by yesterday's man over two yrs ago

Try thinking for once.

If we do exactly as Juncker says that is Brexit at any cost.

You can’t even read an article to find out what it’s about before flying of the handle in completely the wrong direction. You’re in no position to be lecturing people on thinking when you can’t even think to read something before commenting on it.

We aren’t doing as Junker says. We can’t even make our own minds up and get the government to agree on what we want to continue negotiations. Anyone who thinks no deal brexit is a good idea has really lost the plot.

Junker is a c**t. That doesn’t make everyone else innocent. Especially ranks within our own government who seem hell bent on doing wrong by our own country in the name of brexit.

Yes Mr Juncker.

Lost the debate. Doing a Grendull is always going to be confirmation of that. I really don’t understand what happened to you Astute. I used to think you were OK, someone you could debate with but now you’re swimming in the same pool as Grendull. Never thought I’d see that.

Calm down.

So you think licking Junckers arse is the way to go?

The only way to deal with self important tossers like him is let him know you won't take shit off him.

Does this sound familiar?

European Commission president: 'The Swiss have a completely false view of me'

Within the CU or SM? And May was going through all this with Merkel as you posted that we are not allowed to talk about it. Any desperate attempt to show the EU in a bad light.

You do not see any difference between the disastrous government and Brexit referendum and the U.K.? You can love the UK and hate the position it is in because of bad government.

Debating with you Tony is like trying to have a conversation with one of the Chuckle Brothers - without their amazing sense of comedy.

Some do not want to be convinced. And even if the majority of people think it is a good outcome...those same people will use a toothcomb to find a negative...& you're one of them!

You don’t need a toothcomb to find a negative with Brexit. Maybe a magnifying glass to find a positive.

The brexiteers are meeting with BoJo now ( or maybe it’s home time ). They are threatening to resign or cause enough trouble Friday ( today ) to perhaps bring down the government. We shall see how much they are aware of the consequences of a no deal Brexit.

Which is why I asked. Part of the government is oblivious as to the consequences.

We have 9 Crown Dependencies and the London City. I would not be mentioning a few paltry billion if I were you. Glass houses and all that..

I just said something totally neutral. You should wait and see as the proposal wasn’t agreed by the SPD. Now you are telling me I would Dispute that Reuters is neutral. Weird logic.
