The best one I have heard for a while came from a friend of my wifes last night in the pub.
She said (from nowhere as Brexit wasn't being discussed) and I quote: "I have always loved the royal family, but I am starting to go off them now as they have't ome out and openly supported Brexit".
Genius
Would you like to point out the contradiction?
A British tradition with a lot of German in it.I have a mate who voted brexit because he believes immigration is diluting our traditions, next sentence from him was that the Royal family should be abolished. My response, they’re a British tradition.
So who has said that only old people watch the BBC?Really? OK then. If they’re the only people watching the BBC why didn’t that demographic vote remain as a majority? Either they’re not the only people watching the BBC or the BBC isn’t the rabid remainers that rabid leavers promote it to be.
I have gone quiet because all you few ever do is try to twist what I say and defend the EU as in your life depends on it.
Then you pretend it is a debate.
I gave you multiple links that backed what I was saying and as I pointed out I could provide many many more should I wished. You’re confusing twisting with correcting. I was correct 100% in what I claimed.
A British tradition with a lot of German in it.
So who has said that only old people watch the BBC?
Is that right?
You even do it with something not directly linked with Brexit. Look at your BBC related comments. This whole thread has become a bigger joke than before when it was already a joke.
You mean people constantly twisting the truth because they didn't get the result they wanted? It was never going to be any other way. Welcome to the reality that is brexit.
So what has happened to the majority that you jeep going on about that don't want to leave?

We have never had much of a say. And as the EU doesn't want to negotiate we don't get much of a say in leaving until things change either.
Working man needs to be in the EU?
Tell that to the Ford workers where the EU borrowed the money to take their jobs out of the EU.
You mean people constantly twisting the truth because they didn't get the result they wanted?
So Corbyn says.....the pro BBC relays.
Corbyn talks Brexit with EU's Barnier
But look at what the British public really think. These are the top comments. Not bad for a pro remain outlet

Barnier does not want a deal because he want’s the punish the UK so that no other country will dare to vote against the corrupt, failed, political nightmare that the EU has become.
He’s the problem with his dogmatic EU rhetoric – he’s the most powerful person in Europe and yet no one voted for him.

Corbyn has betrayed Labour Leave voters, especially in the northern British cities by keeping ‘Remain’ as an option. No longer a conviction politician, this is utterly disgraceful.

Why do Labour think they would do any better at striking a deal with the EU?
The only way they will get a deal is if they give in to every EU demand; And any fool can get a deal if you agree to everything the other side demands and in return abandon all your demands.

Corbyn travels to the heart of darkness in Brussels as a humble supplicant to sell out the working class of the UK, Blair and the metropolitan elites will be happy
The EU does NOT negotiate. Instead, it simply says “what is your plan” and “Your plan is insufficient” and continues this charade until they get surrender.
Corbyn will be a “class traitor” if he does
Brexit=Freedom

Who is this dope to issue warnings!! A much much bigger national disaster would be him in government. When you have his Labour MPs, who represent their constituents, advocating social disorder and strikes it proves just how unfit this opposition party is to govern – a total disgrace! This current labour bunch would drag us down to being a third world country in next to no time.

If 'Uncle Joe' Corbyn and the rest of the loony Marxists ever get into power the EU quite rightly would be glad to see the back of the UK. Having worked in several former communist block countries and seeing the appalling state they were in when the Soviet Union fell, take my word for it he would be a disaster for us also!

Labour simply want to keep us in the EU at all costs. Corbyn would sell his own grandmother (and the UK) to achieve that.

In this farce that is Brexit it's no surprise that Theresa May who has to implement leaving is a Remainer and Jeremy Corbyn who has to oppose it is a Leaver.
Could we be in a more ridiculous position?

Didn’t Barnier say over a year ago that the EU-Canada deal is the only deal that will work with Brexit? I see it’s Brexit hero BOJO’s “new” big idea this morning. No doubt his followers will be lapping it up even though it’s actually the idea of Barnier. If we go for that we’ve literally had no say in what shape Brexit takes. Everything will be exactly as the EU says it will be from the divorce bill to the final deal. Taking back control etc.
And here you go again.Remain would be ahead in fresh EU vote, poll of polls tracker suggests
You twist everything. I said if there were a referendum remain would win. That is not the same as the question YouGov asked.
No. Twisting my words and twisting the truth constantly.Or don’t like it when other people see it differently.
How am I supposed to have a debate with bitter and twisted people? All you ever do is defend Brexit and don't debate.
Which part of it is bullshit then? That is bullshit. 2+2=5. it doesn’t.
Of course it is because you are one who constantly does it.Who is going to get the result they wanted exactly? Those that voted leave expecting a hard brexit? Those that voted leave expecting a Canada brexit? Those that voted leave expecting a Canada+ Brexit? Those that voted leave expecting a chequers plan brexit? Those that voted leave expecting a Norway brexit? They all knew what they voted for apparently so it seems as many leavers are not going to get the result they wanted as remainers.
I love the way you keep saying twisting the truth as if you’ve ever put any meaning behind it. It’s empty rhetoric.
Why don't you learn. If you mention who you think might be the next Tory leader it means you worship that person to some on here.I don't actually think he has many followers, the smarter candidates for succession to the Tory party leadership will be using him as a battering ram to knock over May when the time is right, I reckon their next leader will be either Rees-Mogg or Javid.
Strangely enough you have quoted those more than me.Someone calculated that in the last ( 15 or 20 years- I cannot remember exactly)) in 83% of occasions in the Council we voted with the majority. And were outvoted less times than Germany who, according to some idiots, run the show. Where do you get your „facts“? Farage? The Express, Sun, Telegraph or Mail?
The BBC should be closed down - discuss

I am not getting what I wanted as I wanted remain. But that doesn't mean that I should lie and twist everything I don't like.
I mentioned Kavanagh earlier, do I now have to eulogize his infinite wisdom? Why don't you learn. If you mention who you think might be the next Tory leader it means you worship that person to some on here.
You could be right but that’s not to say that he doesn’t have a popular following. Not necessarily from within the Tory party core membership but a lot of the public that voted leave certainly like him. And why wouldn’t they, he’s telling them what they want to hear even if he isn’t 100% genuine. Rees Mogg has ruled himself out of a leadership competition everytime it’s mentioned so he’ll probably throw his name in the hat. Who will win? Who knows. My guess is we’ll find out not long after the Tory conference. Especially if it’s as much as a disaster as the last one.
And here you go again.
Tracker suggests becomes remain would win.
Just like most knew remain would win first time. But some of us won a lot of money as we used common sense instead of wishful thinking.
Why don't you learn. If you mention who you think might be the next Tory leader it means you worship that person to some on here.
No they don't, he is widely regarded as a clown.
Strangely enough you have quoted those more than me.
But it is OK for a remainer to quote them though isn't it.
