When did we leave Tony?
Read the article you linked. It tells you in their. It also tells you why the government chose to raise interest rates. You’re article contradicts everything you’ve said.

For your theory to me true the media would surely be pandering to the leave camp. Given that was the majority. Maybe it’s just the cold hard of reality of Brexit and now all the fuzzy logos have gone people are focusing on the reality.
Tony you said the interest rate was 7% when we left are you standing by that statement?
Tit...if they are mainly bad they are either pandering as you suggest ("to the leave camp"), scaremongering as it sells their media or at least it's agenda, or there is a 50:50 chance they are actually going to become reality.
Not sure what you mean by "Given that was the majority"..? Unless you are finally convinced that the majority of peolle that cared enough wanted to leave?!

Yes...please...just goThey’ve reported what industry has said and they’ve explained why. Maybe it’s Toyota or JLR or Airbus or Mini etc etc that are pandering to the leavers. Or maybe just maybe they understand the effects of Brexit better than you. I’m going with the latter.
Who are we negotiating with?I'm not biased. I see that Brexit is looking like a fuck up, and the crap about USSR, 1066 and Brit Dunkirk spirit at the Conservative conference, confirmed once again that Brexit is a fuck up. We don't need the Dunkirk spirit if we are going some place better than where we are. We don't need to annoy the people we are negotiating with if we have a good hand. They have to come to us. I think insulting the people who hold a veto on any trade deal is a futile attempt to save face as we lunge out of the EU. It won't help, but I think the Tories know we are out on our arse and are whipping up their base against the EU, ready to blame Brexit on the EU.
:wideyed:I'm not biased.
I might have been wrong in saying that it was 7% at the point we left but I was going from memory and it was a long time ago.
Fact is it wasn’t at 15% when we “plunged” in and it did fall down to 7% within 2 years of membership and as your article tells you the reason they climbed again was politically motivated. So I guess the real question is are you going to stand by your statement? I’m big enough to say I got something wrong let’s see if you are.
Who are we negotiating with?
The EU refuse to negotiate. It is always come back with something better. That isn't negotiating. If we continue to bend over we will get badly shafted.
Now is the time to say enough is enough. You want to cherry pick our fishing rights. We want a free trade deal. That isn't us cherry picking. IIRC only 3 EU countries buy more off us than we buy off them. And one of them is Ireland. We want something that will benefit the vast majority. What is wrong with that?
I can see there being a price to pay. Something like a few billion a year into the EU.
Open borders still? Waste of time leaving if that is the case.
I didn’t say it was 15% when we joined Tony
Italy's pro-refugee mayor Domenico Lucano arrested
The mayor of an Italian town known around the world as a model of integration has been put under house arrest for 'aiding illegal migration'.
Domenico Lucano, who has been the mayor of the southern Italian town of Riace since 2004, is also accused of unlawful conduct in assigning contracts for rubbish collection services.
Lucano's partner, Tesfahun Lemlem, was banned from living in the town under the same charges.
The arrest on Tuesday morning came amid a government inquiry into the allocation of funds for refugees in the town.
Why is it you say that I don't have any reasons for us leaving the EU. Then you say different to my normal reasons. Do I have to mention every reason every post? The EU are negotiating in the background on trade, but the main problem is that the UK wants the benefits of membership without being a member. The EU is not leaving, we are. We are leaving because we don’t like one or more of the 4 freedoms guaranteed by the EU, and now we expect the EU to drop their own rules for us. Trade is negotiable, but not the 4 freedoms.
You say open borders with the EU are the problem. Different to your normal Selmayr Juncker and fish story. You just don’t like foreigners coming in from the EU.
So what has Trump got to do with Brexit?Anti refugee, pro Brexit, president not arrested for a life built on dodging taxes;
Trump dodged hundreds of millions in inheritance taxes, documents show
So what has Trump got to do with Brexit?
And why is it that when someone in the UK does something wrong you try to pull them to bits but when it is someone from the EU you just point out someone else from somewhere in the world that has done something similar so it is OK?

Ah Farage. The person you love to bring up for no reason. The person you say we hear about all the time when we don't.The first post by Dutchman was to show 'liberal' people in a bad light. Why post it otherwise? It has nothing to do with the EU or Brexit. My post has to do with someone who is mates with Farage, Banks and Wigmore...( all of whom were pictured with him in golden settings in Trump Tower ) who has openly praised Brexit and claims he could negotiate better with the EU than Theresa May. He is, like many Brexiters, dishonest scum and I posted it to show the hypocrisy of people jumping on someone who helps refugees whilst ignoring the far greater crimes of a known tax dodger.
Brexit bad boys? Funny. What are you on about? I usually criticise the 'Brexit bad boys' and not the UK. In this case I critise a Brexit 'praiser' who knows so little about the UK, that he claimed "Scotland has taken their country back" when Scotland voted clearly for remain.
Why is it you say that I don't have any reasons for us leaving the EU. Then you say different to my normal reasons. Do I have to mention every reason every post?
Or are you saying that I don't have any valid points when mentioning Selmayr, Juncker and the EU wanting to cherry pick our fishing rights?
And why is it that you admit that you are biased towards the EU but say you are not biased? :shifty:
Brexit bad boys? Funny.
Not bad considering you always defend the EU bad boys and how they bend and break all the rules and regulations.

Tax dodgers Juncker do you mean?
Bollocks as usual.Your admission for leaving the EU is that freedom of movement is "just wrong" and that if we continue with free movement then leaving is "a waste of time". Totally against EU migrants. Then you come out with some crap about EU civil servants not being elected ... which is the same in the UK, and claim that the EU is corrupt... which is the same as the UK is ... and then pretend that these are your reasons for being a leaver, which is BS because your real treason is you don't like EU migration. So stop bullshitting and admit it. The Selmayr ( chosen the same way as UK civil servants, influence of friends ), Juncker ( who is gone 2019 ) and fish ( which is more complicated than you suggest )are just red herrings to cover your anti EU racism.
The worse thing you have ever said about anyone or anything to do with the EU is the Selmayr fiasco was unfortunate. WOW.No I don't. And no they don't in every case.

Why don't you ask your fellow 'EU is perfect whatever they do followers. They will tell you that we only ever hear about Farage these days when you bring him up.No I don't. And no they don't in every case.
Farage was at the Conservative Conference and gave a speech. Don't you follow the politics you claim to know all about? Farage was also on German TV from the Conservative Conference, so he is difficult for me to avoid. He came out and told the Germans your crap, that Brexit will hurt them more than Britain. They smiled and moved on to other subjects.
Juncker is not in Trump's league. Juncker is gone 2019 and neither President of the most powerful country in the world nor a Brexit lover.
Annoying was your description. The other words were mine. And you told me I was wrong.Annoying. A scam. A sham. Plus other descriptions.
Bollocks as usual.
You have lived in Germany most of your life. You don't have the reality of living in the UK. You say we don't have any unemployed. You say that record amounts of people coming to live here only brings good.
I say we need to catch up with housing.es for the homeless to live in. I say we need to catch up with the needed infrastructure. As usual you twist what I say.

And still provided reasons to excuse it!The worse thing you have ever said about anyone or anything to do with the EU is the Selmayr fiasco was unfortunate. WOW.
Laughable - Mart himself could book a meeting room somewhere near the centre if Birmingham, invite a few people...including the media & say whatever he likes. Why don't you ask your fellow 'EU is perfect whatever they do followers. They will tell you that we only ever hear about Farage these days when you bring him up.
