I did notice that.
She looks to be on every bandwagon possible.

Giving it large she is a Sky Blue fan and yet...

She describes herself as a politician of principal - not a career politician

Nobody describes themselves as a career politician, that's just what politicians are. You think 99% of our politicians would stick around if you got rid of second jobs and expenses?

I’m sure she’s a nice enough girl, just doing what many others do in her position…..as for the constant photos, that’s a generational thing.
The Tories are corrupt
The Lib Dem’s wet
Labour full of hypocrites
The Greens are a bit unrealistic
The SNP are corrupt
Can’t we just take the fairest and most common sense policies from each party and implement them as a Nation ?

Are you for real?
Yeah. Backs policies that I support. Seems to have a decent voting record. Calls MPs and the Govt out on their bullsh*t, seems to give a sh*t about the area she represents.

I'm not gonna get in to back and forth on here as there's a forum for that, but that's why I've voted for her. Seems like the sort of thing folks should be considering when casting a vote so I'm good with it.

Oh, and you believed her? You poor, poor, fool. You probably believed Boris when he said he didn't have a party.

Of course I don't believe her - shes an attention seeking clown who attempts to take a moral high ground. Compare her to to the Coventry NW MP. I really do not think comparing her to Boris Johnson is helping her cause

Fair. It will soon swing the other way again regarding your point ref generations. Once the over 50’s and 60’s Conservative voters die and phase out, who do you think the 40% school leavers attending university (which is now more accessible) with blue and green hair will vote for?
I'm sure people thought the same about the 'hippy' generation of the 70's. In the 90's when I was growing up from the consensus I'd have imagined that we'd have been predominantly left wing governments by now, but we don't.

Maybe this generation will continue to be more left wing as they get older as we do seem to have reached that tipping point (though I think we'd be more likely to see a rise in the Green's unless they had a LD style balls-up).

But at the same time there are a number who are vain, narcissistic and want everything yesterday. So I'm not totally confident in that.

I'll try up respond t!o both aspects of this thread.

I also had a very recent birthday which is why my friends treated me to the Platinum experience against Reading but I missed the Bham game because it was the only weekend the family could get together.

As for the politics it's obvious that a lot of working class people vote Conservative. I never have but like many others, I see the Labour party as being taken care over by middle class lefties with a much more privileged upbringing than I had.
While I think Labour (well, politicians in general) are far more likely to be middle class with some sens e of privilege and not understanding the working person, it still doesn't make sense for working class people to vote Tory, as they're predominantly upper-middle class, extremely privileged and self-serving.

As I female I will remain coy about my age, but as it's a multiple of 21, let's just call it my 21st (again).
And no it's not 84 ...
Wonder how many female posters there are on here. I always assume everyone on here is a guy

I remember having this exact same argument in the 1980's when Thatcher was PM, And eventually we got 3 consecutive Labour governments under Tony Blair, and what a fuck up that was.
The working class are doomed to be fucked over regardless of who is in office.

Jesus christ, this is so condescending.
It is true though. I'm of an age to of witnessed it.

I was in the poll tax riots and anti Thatcher marches, but trust me, I don't know many of my age who would of even considered voting for that prick Corbyn at the last election

The next general election will undoubtedly be closer, but in all honesty, Starmer has got fuck all going for him apart from the fact that he isn't Rishi Sunak, and will that be enough? It's hardly a manifesto.

Incidentally, there was an old saying that used to piss me off big time, but now kind of rings true.....

"If your not a socialist in your twenties, then you have no heart, if your still a socialist in your forties, then you have no brain"
