- Sort out delivery methods, so people don't end up phoning the ticket office to ask for an email! So to help Pete out, what are we saying good would look like?
All blocks on sale from the start
ST (x1) > Points tiers > General
Ideally better training on TicketMaster/support setting it up properly
Pre-agreed plans with SAG for various scenarios
Give us a chance to prove points can get the right people in the right places
Smoother buying experience for existing ST holders/groups
Sort whatever the fuck happened so we charged a bunch of people for corporate then took it away and refunded them
Anything else?

It was me
Someone did. I can't keep track of this thread. Time to log off. It needs to be Sun now! PUSB & all that.
re your last point, the Middlesborough ticket office were saying they'd had dog's abuse this week from their fans who didn't have sufficient points even though they'd attended plenty of games, i.e a mate buys 5 tickets for an away game but doesn't assign them, so he gets 20 points (as an example), but his mates don't get any (but if allocated properly they'd get 20 points each).- Sort out delivery methods, so people don't end up phoning the ticket office to ask for an email!
- Enable emailing of hospitality tickets (apparently it's physical collection only from the stadium, but they are advising people not to leave it until Sunday because it will be so busy. Yet the collection point isn't open on Saturday!).
- Look into allocation of points for purchase history. It seems hit and miss.
F*ck sake. I'm out.It was me
Shmmee would you mind sending me that on pm
Brilliant on the phone earlier, calm and helpful. Hats off to themI was at the ticket office earlier today (had to collect something). There were 7 ladies in the ticket office room, solidly working on printing, sorting, posting, etc etc. Working their arses off....how the club have approached the selling of tickets not down to them. To quote one of them...."they haven't stopped to breathe since tickets went on sale". Hats off to them to being stuck between the club and fans
Blimey, what a mess!Email from the club. It seems that saying there had been an error was an error.
Hi,
You may have received an email this morning from the Ticket Office regarding an error in purchasing your Legends seats for Sundays match against Middlesbrough.
This email was sent in error, you will not be refunded and your ticket will still be valid. Please rest assured that your tickets will be fine, there is no action required on your part and if you are due to collect your tickets from the stadium either today or Sunday please continue to do so.
We apologise for any confusion caused.
And later:
... we will be opening the VIP Collection window from 1:30pm to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday 13th May). If you are able to collect on Saturday we would highly recommend it to avoid large queues on Sunday morning.

Does that mean the stadium was built while never being able to serve its theoretical maximum?
I'm wondering if the issue is that there is sufficient concourse capacity for the number of seats if the entire South Stand is taken into account and there is no segregation on the concourse. The question perfectly exposes their statement for the nonsense that it is.
That stand has been completely sold out, from block 6 right across to 12 on several occasions. Are they admitting that on those occasions they violated safety rules?
As for block 13, it’s not even part of the same concourse.
No, It's accessed from the East Stand and fans in it only have access to the concourse in the East Stand. There is also a fence between 13 and the first block in the South Stand.Doesn't block 13 straddle both home and away parts of the ground? Maybe theres something in the ticketing software that's preventing releasing the tickets?
You access 13 from the east stand. You go up the stairs between 14 and 13 to get to it. It's mostly the seats above those stairsI'm wondering if the issue is that there is sufficient concourse capacity for the number of seats if the entire South Stand is taken into account and there is no segregation on the concourse.
With Boro having around 2k in a 3k capacity area, they have excess capacity on the concourse, but due to shutters etc. that can't be utilised for the extra 300 in Block 13.
Would explain why it has been open for large away followings and games like the women where there was no segregation.
Still piss-poor design.

It's like the Hotel Inspector episode of Fawlty Towers
That's shit ... but still better than we're fookin left side right side bollocks which I expect we'll hearI'm in block 11 Sunday. Pointing both ways going to be singing "who the fucking hell are you" followed by "we want thirteen out, 'said we want thirteen out"
29000 is enough fans,to create an atmosphere.who cares about one empty blockIl ask you again , show me examples of Liverpool or man utd fans crossing the segregation and fighting .over the last few years .. I can give you examples at coventry .
Safety groups reacting to ACTUAL incidents , not what could happen because 2 sets of supporters don't like

Suggest making the whole area an open terrace and letting the supporters work out their own level of 'comfort' ?WMP on twitter are embarrassing themselves this afternoon. Genuinely sounds like a bloke has had a beer and is tweeting on his work phone.
Acknowledges the corner is popular and then goes on to say...
The corner is the only area of the ground fully sold out and the demand is very high but according to WMP we don't need block 13 on normal matchdays!
Nah, they've got it spot on, saying they've put measures in place to 'elevate the problems'.WMP on twitter are embarrassing themselves this afternoon.
Chair of supporters forum is on sag from London supporters club. Colin HendersonMaybe members of the SAG could be given a stadium tour, and perhaps it could be arranged for them to talk to some actual football supporters?
