Not been about as been busy with moving jobs etc so not really had chance to look or do much.

From what I gather he has spoken to the other person but they were a middle man for the middle man so knew nothing about the offer or the situation (which you can't really expect them to)

I think he wants to generally get an idea of the offer and a bit more detail.

I think it's on hold for the weekend (which may help the situation with time away from it).

If people want to chat to ml he will probably speak to them direct anyway!

ML is a director at the club, so technically he's not a middleman but a representative of the club.

To be fair what is ML? It was a conversation from 1 middle man to another.
