Why on earth would it be Panzo, unless Forest see they made a mistake and he is not Premier league standard?

He doesn’t pick his clubs well…or just isn’t very good, I guess we’ll soon find out!Given he's made one appearance since he signed in January I think it's safe to say he isn't in their plans this season.
Are we completely ruling out a return for Maatsen?
Would love to be wrong but cant see that happening. He was nearly joined Dortmund so Id imagine he sees himself at a higher level

Someone on twitter mentioned a possible signing from Man City earlier todayWith regards to the top PL side.... I took a look at the Man City EDS. They've got 5 players that would fit a Left-sided description.
Callum Doyle,
Josh Wilson-Esbrand,
Oscar Tarensi,
Luke Mbete-Tabu,
Juan Larios.
Can't say I know anything about them, but they must have something about them to be at Man City

Norwich were relegated mate
But, again, why would Bidwell be happy with being the healthy competition, where a loanee ends up ahead of him?would say its more to do with healthy competition, keeping the squad depth for the amount of games we play and maybe injuries.
I guess if he's the backup LWB and the backup LCB in one, he should still get plenty of game time. But, again, why would Bidwell be happy with being the healthy competition, where a loanee ends up ahead of him?
Also, why would it be a wise use of budget for Bidwell not to be the de facto first choice at the start of the season? And, if that ends up being the case, why would a loanee choose to come here to be backup?
But if you were Bidwell, who's been first choice for a number of play-off chasing championship sides, why would you be happy being backup? I actually like Allen, but given his background is Rochdale and Burton (a relegation season at this level) being general first choice replacement is probably a lot easier sell then it is to someone who comes from a position where, to put it bluntly, they've been playing at a higher standard than us up until now.I guess if he's the backup LWB and the backup LCB in one, he should still get plenty of game time.

What we really need is loanees whose parent clubs aren't necessarily expecting them to be first choice every week but want them to be part of match day squads with the occasional playing time as sub or injury cover as they have no chance of getting that experience the level above and they thing L1 won't be enough of a challenge. But if you were Bidwell, who's been first choice for a number of play-off chasing championship sides, why would you be happy being backup? It's the same with Kane really isn't it - why would you have an established Championship player as first reserve? if nothing else, the use of wages should surely be for first team, and the challenge for the first team place is somebody aspirational, with designs on pushing that first teamer out, but who won't expect to be there right at the start.
Problem with a loanee is as they're only here temporarily (so therefore signing for their supper, be it here, their parent club, or elsewhere) they need first team football really.
The problem with that of course is finding them, as you really want your player playing and, if they're not, then you could argue they're probably not good enough to use up some loan resource. I appreciate it's easier said than done but if doing that, your energies turned towards finding a McCallum equivalent are surely the way forward - at least we'd have the player ready to step in ourselves, then. What we really need is loanees whose parent clubs aren't necessarily expecting them to be first choice every week but want them to be part of match day squads with the occasional playing time as sub or injury cover as they have no chance of getting that experience the level above and they thing L1 won't be enough of a challenge.

A “big” one?
I cant see any of the big 3 going now. Windows too far along to the start of the season, i think MR would say lets keep them until Jan now
Am i in the minority?
I would love to be in your camp. To be fair, I was pretty optimistic on keeping all 3 until SBB's post above.
