Imagine if players just cut agents loose and went in on negotiating their own terms and cutting out the middle man trying to grab a slice of something he didn't bake. Perhaps make the journos work a bit harder too
Did you know Craig Bellamy negotiated his own terms in all his many transfers.

Maatsen left at home from USA tour, sounds like he is off out on loan again. Could it be to us, seemed to fit into the group obvious pick but id be happy with it.

Hakim Ziyech has announced that he’ll be representing himself from now on

Would be a good signing if possible but I imagine his fee of more than £0 would price us out.
Some kind of Sheaf style loan - buy deal with a load of add one might be the solution.

Another good season with over-budget attendances, some TV games etc or a decent bit of player trading in January might facilitate this.

I’d have a punt on him.

We won't get Maatsen so it is all hypothetical.. but if he was available at a cut price I think SISU would find the cash. They are trying to run the club within its means so the club is cash short with assets ties up in key players. That said they are an investment fund and would act on opportunities as they arise I'm sure if a crazy value deal came our way where they could make more down the line they would act on it.

@Skybluebeliever a colleague who claims to be ITK at the swans, is telling me we had a deal In place for Walsh but it’s fallen through due to his injury, do you know if there is any truth in it? He also claims they were keen on Kane but also looking at other options?

It’s the same story, possibly these loan deals aren’t as advanced as first thought
Yes I think they are , would expect two in this week
Let’s hope so and don’t disappear like the other two MR thought we had

No

Would expect one today from a top premiership club and the other one later in the week from a newly promoted team , both left sided defenders

Any outgoing players expected this week?

I doubt we have had any interest in Walsh at all.

If we assume it is Panzo, then will be interesting to see who the LWB is...
Alvaro Fernandez at Manchester United is well thought and has rumoured championship interest.
Or maybe Owen Beck from Liverpool - although linked with a Portuguese move last week

What makes you think that? We need a squad
Because he's at the stage of his career he wouldn't be happy being backup, and it's unlikely a loanee would be happy being backup.

Nobody's happy being reserve, but different profiles of track record and experience would expect different things.

would say its more to do with healthy competition, keeping the squad depth for the amount of games we play and maybe injuries.
