He has enforced conscription, banned people from leaving the country, tried to recall citizens to fight - while he sits with Global leaders and will have a Cayman Island account to fall back on.
Pretty easy to understand really.
You've said something stupid, been called out on it, then thrown your toys out the pram. Standard for you really.
I can't remember producing a percentage graph.
"bound to get shit". Go outside for a bit, for fuck sake.
If "getting shit" is you producing some childish GIF or the regular cliches - such as "the state of you" - I think he will cope.
Hard TO agree, because nearly everything he's been saying has not been true.Hopefully peace can be negotiated. I'm not quite sure i agree at all with trumps current stance of " it's all your fault , you're a dictator and your country will pay entirely for this conflict " argument .
But peace must be negotiated but it requires America to take a far more firm stance with Moscow too .
His rhetoric since becoming president in general has been quite alarming , the bloke and his sidekick are a pair of wankersHard TO agree, because nearly everything he's been saying has not been true.
He's all but talking like Russia is our friend and Ukraine, our enemy.
President in enforcing conscription and asking citizens to fight when invaded shocker, stop the press!!!!!!!
Whatever Zelensky has done is nothing compared to what his two counterparts are up to.A strange argument. So if one does it they all can?
And on corruption, not good, like most Eastern European states outside the EU, but miles better than Russia, who are the alternative here.
How Deep Does Corruption Run in Ukraine?
Ukraine has made significant progress fighting graft, but its record continues to haunt it.foreignpolicy.com
Basically the usual suspects are spouting utter bollocks they’ve had fed through their Twitter feed as per.
It should have happened ages ago. Weirdly, when I said the same thing a year or so ago, certain people liking your post were a bit more hostile to the idea.Hopefully peace can be negotiated. You said a year ago that the US needed to be more firm with Russia and that you disagreed that it was all Ukraines fault and people were hostile? Really?
Everyone wants peace. The idea anyone including the Ukrainians don’t is a nonsense. The problem is people don’t think total capitulation will bring peace. But this has been said repeatedly and ignored repeatedly on this thread.
You have stated Russia had to retreat and restore Ukraine as it was at the beginning of the war. This was bonkers and never happening.
There’s degrees fffsFunny thing is, my comment was that they are all looking after themselves as individuals first and foremost. The responses were essays completely unrelated to what I said.
Seems like people have to be either one end of the scale or the other, Trump and Putin nasty men so completely ignore the fact Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries about. Can't possibly be the case that they are all at it, looking after number 1.
Weird.

...one of the most corrupt countries about.
"Transparency International's 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), which scored 180 countries on a scale from 0 ("highly corrupt") to 100 ("very clean"), gave Ukraine a score of 36. When ranked by score, Ukraine ranked 104th among the 180 countries in the Index, where the country ranked first is perceived to have the most honest public sector.[28] For comparison with worldwide scores, the best score was 90 (ranked 1), the worst score was 11 (ranked 180), and the average score was 43.[29] For comparison with regional scores, the best score among Eastern European and Central Asian countries [Note 1] was 53, the worst score was 18 and the average score was 35. Commenting on Ukraine's 2023 CPI score, Transparency International noted that Ukraine's score has been improving steadily for 11 years, rising three points from the 2022 score."
For the record I don't think Ukraine is corrupt, but quoting 'perceptions' surely much of that is because of the feeling they've been wronged and without seeing the data, I imagine Russia scores low on the same scale. News, social media, even their own propaganda will add weight to the theory."Transparency International's 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), which scored 180 countries on a scale from 0 ("highly corrupt") to 100 ("very clean"), gave Ukraine a score of 36. Importantly for Trump, the US electorate support him.No one of note seems to support the US position on this since Trump came back.
Well, do you keep all YOUR receipts?Importantly for Trump, the US electorate support him.
He campaigned that he would halt the flow of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine and that's what he's doing.
Now those voters want to see the receipts for the billions Biden sent there. Seems that's a bit of a problem.
it ranks as one of the worst in Europe and its human rights record for minorities is atrocious

If you're concerned about their human rights, I'd guess they'd be more likely to improve with closer ties to the EU and an outcome to the war that's loaded in their favour than if Russia keeps huge chunks of it and has greater influence than it did before the conflict started.
But we've been told for the last 3 years that Biden was only supporting Ukraine for US economic gain.
Trump has been changing by the day the amount he claims Ukraine has received. He did this with the ‘condoms to Hamas’ nonsense too.Importantly for Trump, the US electorate support him.

Yes it is, from both of the super powers discussing its futureHis country objectively is the victim in this conflict
