Probably the worst mentality of any team at the Euros.
I’ve watched every game so far and it feels like only ours have been stinkers.

I will admit, I made a huge groan when he lost the ball, but all of them were doing it. Don't get me wrong, if we lost Denmark would have deserved the win, but our players seemed to shit themselves when a Danish player got to within four feet of them, not an exceptional amount of pressure. He played well. He made one really bad mistake and made up for it, by getting the tackle in and saving himself.
I think people are parroting each others because they agree.
He had a decent game.
Not sure, we have some good technical players but not sure it's at the same level as some other nations.Nah, I disagree.
Bellingham, Foden, Rice, Saka, etc etc are incredible players and unbelievably good technically.
And look at our youth teams winning loads of tournaments.
It's not a technique thing, they are just being managed appallingly.
I don’t get what’s so offensive about this? He’s saying we don’t have a natural defensive mid in the squad like we did in the last few tournaments so he’s trying something else. Obviously it’s not working and he needs to change it but I don’t see what fundamentally wrong with saying that?
I think it's rueing the absence of a defensive player, when we have created 2 (?) chances and played awfully as an attacking team against meh opponents.I don’t get what’s so offensive about this? 12 months ago he was an all action box to box midfielder, I know he had a great season at 10 for madrid but I'm not sure it's his best positionI'd just like to point out that England have played a whopping 4 matches with jude bellingham as a 10 , and won 1
He had a great half season , his form dropped after Christmas.. the English media always forget this key part12 months ago he was an all action box to box midfielder, I know he had a great season at 10 for madrid but I'm not sure it's his best position
I are just so fucking depressingIt's actually a bit depressing watching Spain move the ball quickly and taking the game to Italy.
Imagine how good we could be if we did the same with the attacking talent we have.
Agreed. There's nothing wrong with what's he's said there, he's right. That's his preferred system & it's served us well in the past. The flip side, & the fans argument, is they don't want us to play that way.I don’t get what’s so offensive about this? The below interview was some months ago now & I think is pretty fair. Since then Wharton has really emerged though & I'd be giving him a go in that position.
