They wasn't shot they was hit with mortar, but still awful.Too right. Absolutely appalling.
More now from Ben Wallace.2m refugees and we’ve agreed to take 300!!!!!!! Woah
I used to love KFC in my pre vegetarian days.
Hardly ever eat in McDonald's (maybe twice in the last 10-15 years)
My fast food of choice is Leon's. More expensive, but everything I have ever had from there has been nice.
More now from Ben Wallace.
On the subject of refugees, the UK defence secretary acknowledged the UK needed to do more to address the situation of Ukrainians arriving in Calais, some of whom have been told they need to travel back to Paris or Brussels to apply for a visa.
"We need to do more," he said. "We need to upscale it. I know that the home secretary has already doubled, or trebled in some cases, more people in different processing centres."
He said the government's compassion was "huge" and would result in hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians coming to the UK.
"It's not the case that we are only allowing 300 people in, it is the case that the system has not been quick enough, which is what we're going to address."
Not good but addresses and acknowledges it’s rubbish

Apart from the occassional urgent requirement for taking a shit, I don't use McDonalds, KFC, Starbucks & the like...... grubby lukewarm food & shit coffee that is bad for me, bad for the environment & also the UKs major source of street litter......but it will be interesting to see if a boycott gets any traction.....
I won't hold my breath.

Suspect the people who would actually boycott off the back of this already don't go to those places for the reasons you listed.McDonald's and Coca-Cola boycott calls grow over Russia

I ate at KFC once when I was a teenager and it was actually disgusting.I think the pangs for a Big Mac will over ride principals for the majority somehow
I’ve never understood the interest in McDonald’s a place where you are actually surprised if your food arrives warm. I don’t think I’ve ever had the delights of a KFC in my life

Had it once 30 years ago. Never again.I ate at KFC once when I was a teenager and it was actually disgusting.
Anyone in Coventry looking for decent fast food should go to 7Bone.
Exactly. Makes me ashamed of my country.I can't believe there are those out there that actually believe we are an easy touch. It's incredibly difficult to get people into the UK for even short term official business.
We should be parachuting in Mcdonalds for the Russian soldiers... a few weeks of eating nothing but that shite and they'll be in no fit state to fight. We'd be doing Russia a favour by essentially banning it for them.
It's just a term people know will create a negative reaction, so throw it about willy-nilly to make their enemies look like bastards.Yes, I've seen some other articles about this. Every read seems to have its own slant. I'm beginning to think that nobody knows what a Nazi is? Putin was very quick to use the term in attacking Ukraine.
Jewish Ukraine Fights Nazi Russia - Tablet Magazine
Slightly off topic, but this is something else I've considered and would be harder to overcome than energy IMO, due to the land requirements (and assuming said land is suitable). And so to another consequence of Russia's invasion that really needs to be addressed. Food security.
War in Ukraine: Crisis is unleashing 'hell on earth' for food prices - BBC News
It's madness now, people threatening to boycott just because companies haven't made a statement...
I get if Ronald McDonald was supplying arms to Russia.
Pipe down you pricks.
Just seen Deborah Meaden is going on about it, have all of her businesses she invested in stopped Shipping to Russia?
Its more the fact they are still trading, their shops are still open & they are still making profit in Russia.....
Even mega-cuntish morally bankrupt global giants like BP are closing their petrol stations & ceasing trading there....
.......but despite this pressure, despite the tragedy unfolding, its still currently profit over people for cunts like Mcdonalds & Starbucks.....

Anyone know which flavour crisps they're giving out ? I bet they're prawn cocktail. The flavour no one wants in their multipack.Saw that on the news yesterday. It's a fucking shambles.
Priti Patel said there was a surge of help over there. Turns out it was a couple of blokes, hiding in some obscure office, with a box of Walkers and a couple of Kit Kats. You couldn't make it up.

I'll take them off you. Not at the expense of having to flee my country in terror however, to be met by a bunch of unsympathetic wankers with a narrow-minded outlook that means they move at a snail's pace to help those in need, however.Anyone know which flavour crisps they're giving out ? I quite like Prawn Cocktail these days.Anyone know which flavour crisps they're giving out ? I bet they're prawn cocktail. The flavour no one wants in their multipack.
The dream team :Cheese and onion, smokey bacon, chicken, ready salted, beef.I quite like Prawn Cocktail these days.
Isn't it weird how coffee has become so bloody trendy these days, particularly to be see carrying around with you when walking around the shops. It's like a fashion accessory.I know, I know...pretty much the whole globalised corporate world is devoid of any real ethics, and I also appreciate that I, along with everyone else who hasn't gone off-grid to live in a yurt & weave hemp, feed the machine.....I'm failry sure that kids younger than mine were probably forced to dig for same elements to ensure my budget phone remained "budget"....
....but when the death, pain & suffering is immediate & right in the worlds face, so much so that even cunts like Apple & Shell have pulled out, I think these shitty burger & coffe chains need their brand shredding to bits....
The meat diet is the big one. Human’s only consume directly 55% of all crops grown in the world, the rest pretty much is animal feed. There’s actually countries in Africa that grow crops for animal feed that’s mostly exported while they don’t grow enough crops to feed themselves. If everyone turned vegetarian overnight we could actually start reforesting in this country. Even more so if we all went vegan. Dairy farming both cow juice and chicken eggs as well as chicken farming itself is the most unethical and polluting farming going.Slightly off topic, but this is something else I've considered and would be harder to overcome than energy IMO, due to the land requirements (and assuming said land is suitable).
Think it's possible but farming would be totally different, relying on hydroponics in high-rise/skyscrapers which are pretty much just massive greenhouses. Can grow more in the same space and have less wastage of water and get maximum yield by giving exactly the right nutrients to each plant and also if necessary light and heat. A lot of plants don't actually require soil, it's just a means for them to extract water and nutrients.
Would be come a lot easier as people move to a less meat-heavy diet.
