Isn't it weird how coffee has become so bloody trendy these days, particularly to be see carrying around with you when walking around the shops. It's like a fashion accessory.
" What did you do at the weekend?"
" Oh Charlotte and I like went for a coffee in town? "
In other words you did fuck all.
This hits the nail on the head so bloody well:

A lad I work with, proper knows his stuff about military aircraft, reckons these planes being supplied to the Ukrainians are fitted with better technology then what the Russians have. Reckons if we ended up getting involved the F22 & Typhoons would piss all over them and the pilots would have a field day.

News says they would be flown to Rammstein. Not clear how they would reach Ukraine. One thing NATO is being quiet on is how weapons are reaching Ukraine but apparently 17000 anti-tank missiles and over a 1000 stingers have got through.
I know their concerts are loud but military jets is a bit OTT.

And they'll definitely fuck up the CBS pitch.

It doesn't sound like the USA want to get involved in this whole MiG29 Poland / Ukraine switch. I wonder how the planes can make their way to Ukraine without a particular country potentially roping themselves into this war?

The problem is that Western society has decided that the white man is at fault for everything wrong with the world. Why would you want to defend a society that hates you?
Another inflamatory ignorant comment from the second biggest idiot on this forum.

US seem determined to get planes to Ukraine. Poland "giving" US its migs. Don't think Russia is going to be fooled by that. It's an escalation if jets given to Ukraine. Not going necessarily going to be seen as defensive weapons.

To be fair, they could argue the mig-29 is a far more defensive fighter than most, it's capabilities are relatively limited in comparison to other aircraft and it's primary (and basically only use for most variants) is air superiority.

I have a solution to the planes issue, now that the US has backed out.

Poland: A number of our MIGs seem to have gone missing. It seems the pilots had a big party at an an airbase near the Ukrainian border and left the keys in them whilst they were parked.

Sue Gray will release a full report as soon as the Metropolitan police have concluded their investigation. The pilots have all now received questionnaires.

Or the keys were in a bowl on the coffee table and the next morning they were gone. With the planes and the wives of the pilots.

Perhaps those farmers who use tractors to tow away Russian tanks could, by some amazing stroke of luck, also be skilled pilots, who then pinch Polish fighters carelessly left parked up by their border.

The RAF are going to start sending planes in an easterly direction and if they come into contact with Ukraine, it's Russia's own fault

Some folk think they should just give up and let the bastards who bomb Children's hospitals have their country

some people think it’s jolly japes too show an avatar of Gerry Adams - who supported an institution which murdered innocent women and children

And some people think its jolly japes to continually post a Gerry Adams gif. So I'm not sure that's an argument you can win.

I get the arguments about not escalating the conflict, I really do, but it's very hard not to feel in some way complicit in this.

There's no legitimacy to attacking a children's hospital, at what point do you have to say 'enough'.

Maybe we need to play Putin at his own game, offer as much direct military support to Ukraine as we can (offensive, defensive, cyber, planes, drones, artillery, missiles, political destabilisation, whatever) whilst absolutely denying that we're doing it.

I don't know, maybe that's daft, or maybe we're already doing it, but the seeming shambles around getting them a few jets doesn't exactly fill me with hope...

I support the stop the war coalition 😂

Di you think Vladimir Putin is running that? Wow me and Zara Sultana and Richard Burgon all best buddies

😂😂😂

So you agree Jeremy Corbyn was in bed with Russia so by definition anyone on here who backed Corbyn supports Russian shills.

that’s very offensive to a lot of people on here do you have any evidence?

I think we probably already are doing that, bar putting troops on the ground and planes in the air there's not much else we can do.

Russia will not win this war long term. Sadly there will be a lot of death and destruction in the meantime though
