It would be the beginning of the end of him. It would be a different story though if missiles were actually launched by the USA rather than Ukraine.

We haven't fired it - we have supplied weapons, as we have done throughout the war. Western weapons have killed thousands of Russian soldiers already.

British weapons are used all over the world by other countries, we aren't at war with each country on the end of them (thankfully!)

If you actually listen to what he's saying here, this is terrifying. Basically military bases in NATO countries are now legitimate targets for attack.
Lets hope he's bluffing, because if not it wouldn't be beyond the realms of fantasy for the UK or US to be attacked tonight

well there's some people who believe he is very ill and on the way out anyway so not entirely sure its wise to be seen to be provoking him even if we do believe its all empty threats.

he hardly seem the most stable and rational person, not sure I want survival relying on some lunatic not thinking I'm on the way out so I'll take everyone else with me!

And anyway, he launched an ICBM the other day. NATO/America would’ve detected its launch. They wouldn’t have known it was only carrying a conventional bomb, rather than a nuclear warhead for which it was designed.

Technically it wasn't an ICBM, it was an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile and Russia informed the US of the launch. And it wasn't even carrying a conventional bomb - it was basically carrying fireworks!

It was pure sabre rattling from Putin, again. It's kind of worked I guess as a lot of people seem convinced we're now on the brink of nuclear war, but we are no closer.

It was a very expensive $50m launch of something they apparently have a very low stock of just to show his audience at home and admirers around the world that he's a big strong tough man.
