Does anyone care if it’s amicable? I certainly don’t. Robins is obviously on board with it. That’s about it.

I am suspicious that AV has been offered a job elsewhere. To recruit Boateng and Carr prior to Monday and announcing the departure was obviously planned and I highly doubt after 7 years of great service they just dumped him unsuspectingly

If he'd have been offered a job elsewhere they wouldn't have come up with an alternative reason for it, would they

Seems to me that the club have evaluated our progress and decided rightly or wrongly, that new impetus in the the coaching team was necessary. Robins has been quite astute with refreshing the coaching set up in the past, however if this change does not bring about success it will be Robins that falls next.

Quite right, it is a results business and if financially backed but results don’t meet expectations, then ….

Why not? He can probably see that some of the new cohort of players aren’t fans of Adi’s methods.

We were worried when Steve Taylor (pre-Adi AM) was seriously ill and how MR would get on without him. We ended up with AV who was great for us.

If our ITKs are correct, then just as we need to replace the ‘old guard’ of players, we need to replace the ‘old guard’ of management if they’re no longer up to standards.

AV has fallen fowl of the new Performance Director ….. wrong type of age, opinion, personality and stubbornness unfortunately. Good luck. AV.

First point was that we’ve been here before in regards to MR choosing a new trusted assistant.

Second point, like the players, if the management are no longer fit for purpose, then they ought to be replaced.

Therefore, if Adi’s methods worked perfectly with players we had in the lower leagues, he may not be suited to managing the players we have at the minute.

Completely agree. I was just saying I don’t really care if it’s amicable or not as long as Robins is ok with it.

Can I start a new conspiracy theory - George hasn't got initials on his training gear and so was only brought in last minute to appease the fans over the surprise exit of AV. Long extensive interview process my arse!! :);)
He could have just borrowed a tracksuit from the Olympic team

The club have parted ways with Adi. Think we ALL agree he did a great job ( I admit I am a Viveash fan).
They now want to move forward with new coaches and new methods.
Like it or not,as fans we support the team and get on with it.
Calling each other to f*** ain’t getting us anywhere.
Come the end of the season,we will know the answer.

I don't mind the training gear with shorts, but Robins looks like he's in his pyjamas there.
