We look poor (7 Viewers)

I didn’t want Robins to go, he has far more promotions on his CV than anyone touted for the job. I wouldn’t have touched Lampard with a shitty stick but dickhead Doug did just that because it’s a Tory appointing another Tory and he wanted a name.

Michael Schumacher would have been far better and has 1 promotion more than Lampard’s 0.

I'm pretty sure Michael Schumacher is in a vegetative state following a skiing accident several years ago.

Probably still would have been more proactive in making substitutions yesterday mind. On that basis, Schumacher in!

First 10 mins we were quite poor, after we scored we looked comfortable until half time.

After half time we got outplayed. Defended well for a little while. Then it was all quite last ditch. Had a couple of chances on the counter and did nothing with them.

Allen was good, but leaving him out on the pitch to crucify himself after hardly playing suggests Lampard didn’t trust Torp to come on and play a disciplined game.
Could he have given Tavares ten minutes?Or even five, really did feel like we needed to break that momentum?

You're asking me if I think a football transfer rumour page has made something up?

Im asking if you think this specific story is entirely made up. You’re a journalist. What does your experience tell you when someone writes with quotation marks that they understand someone is ready to leave?

It’s very obviously an agent driven come and get me plea and if anyone else was making this claim you wouldn’t be saying anything.

Two days ago you were bragging about your fact-checking crusade against some kind of shadowy misinformation campaign. Now you're running around clutching printouts of "TBR Football" like they're stone tablets, claiming they're incontrovertible proof of Haji Wright's agent agitating for him to escape from Lampard Island.

I'm honestly happy for you to play either character, I'd just prefer you pick one and stick to it.

If everyone starts stating this as fact and basing things off it I’ll be right alongside you. But one throw away comment isn’t the same. Two other posters you aren’t deranged by posted the same thing without comment from you.

You literally did state it as fact, but once again you're playing the "I didn't really mean it" card, and it's super-effective.

I mainly felt that after about 70 mins Allen was cooked and should have come off (had a good game despite this and his one mistake in our own penalty area). Think we needed more energy in midfield. I’d have gone with Torp but tbh, he doesn’t really seem to be that kind of player.

I think that looks like a come and get me plea, you don’t. That’s fine. I’m not claiming it as basis for anything other than this. You’re really reaching for some reason.

Leaving knackered midfielders on and not introducing fresh legs has been a feature of the season.

Of course it looks like a come and get me plea, but you have no basis (beyond pure conjecture) for asserting that it actually is one. If you were actually serious about every debate on here being rooted in fact then you would acknowledge that but yeah.

Was a bit surprised Lampard didn't make another substitution, particularly after they equalised. It was obvious then that the head of steam they had built up would result in at least one more chance, and a slowly taken substitution could have given our players a better chance to regroup and compose themselves in facing that. Torp for Allen was an obvious change, but I guess Tavares for BTA wouldn't have caused us too much disruption by that time either.

Thats not what I said though. As usual you are twisting things to try and win internet points. I said that some things become solid fact on SBT and it’s worth checking where they came from because often they’re not solid facts.

If half the forum is running about saying it’s 100% certain Wright wants out and using as the basis for other arguments I would also point out that it’s not proven, because it’s not.

I’ll leave it here because like a few others you’ve gone mental recently and are desperate for a gotcha because I don’t rate Frank Lampard or something.

I was thinking exactly the same. He looked done in and Torp seemed an obvious sub.

I also thought Bidwell looked knackered as well, who knows if that contributed to his error.

Some fans seem pretty ok with selling our best players and handing the money over to our recruitment team who blew millions on average players, if I’m king I wouldn’t give them another penny to waste, we won’t be selling any of our top players in January, summer maybe ?

Spot on. Keep our best players. Sell the dead wood. Whatever you can scrape together for them add to the pot and get a couple in. Add a loan or two.

We've pissed 45 million quid up the wall due to him

Do you honestly trust him to rebuild this bag of shit, when he fucked up the initial rebuild?

It's the scout that recommends and then it's up to the Manager whether to say, yes or no.

So it isn't just due to him is it.
