Doesn't need to make us world beaters but needs to be much better than so far. If he can't do that by Autumn next year he won't get January 26.
I keep saying it, but if the coaches we have now are as good as we've been told then they should be able to get these players playing to somewhere near the level they were at last winter.

That shouldn't take over a year and 3 windows.

Let's look at yesterday in isolation , why didn't we shut up shop ? Why after we concede are we still chasing balls in their half and being caught on the counter with a 40 yard pass ?

Why is the team not sat compact and aggressively pressing across the front to cover passing lanes and push them back up the pitch and protect a point ATLEAST

What happened yesterday isn't acceptable when you perform the way we did in that second half
