In response to the OP, I think his views are in keeping with the majority opinion here-but as I've said before, League 1 will be so much better without the spectre of SISU hanging over us; their reign is surely as untenable as untenable can get from all parties' points of view. Personally got a lot of time for Wednesday (the 'Hi Ho Silver Lining' they sang at the Ricoh in memory of the fans who died returning from City is something that sticks out)-usually see them as the nicer of the two Sheffield sides (United have dirty all over them courtesy of Colin) and would much sooner see them return automatically.
The thing that sticks out though, is that they're being bankrolled by Mandaric. Saints have Liebherr (and now his family estate), Leicester likewise had Mandaric to ensure relatively swift returns. As such, I think the ownership situation is what will have the most bearing on our fortunes next year above anything else-as everything else is more or less dependent on who the owners are (manager, players, staff, pricing etc).
