Jan and Dean - "Surf City".
Do not watch this video if you are offended by the gratuitous display of tanned, toned, female surfers in skimpy bathing suits:

Ok heres ones for us old Rockers - this is a cracker of an album - i love the old guitar sounds with many peddles - saw them at Chalk farm roundhouse in the early 70s as a teenager - its good all the way through its up there in my top five yet most people have never heard of them - they did carry on albeit sadly without the lead singer who was awesome - hope you like it

A Marmite band without doubt but I like them. Listening to English Tapas album by Sleaford Mods. Full of swearing and vitriol, but a few of the tracks are really catchy and get in your brain, which is there intention no doubt. Iggy Pop loves them !

I love 'em mate. Seen them live a few times. They've just released a new EP but I haven't heard it yet.

Just about my favourite song from the sixties
Frampton sounding excellent at around 16-17.
:)
Howard and Blaikley were an ace songwiring team that wrote hits for many top artists, even Elvis Presley.

I'm listening to Fire And Water by Free. Every time I put my favourite album on I'm back to 1970 in my bedroom down Walsgrave, with my mum shouting up " turn it down ! " Great memories.

Breathtaking

Wow, YouTube won't let me watch that, "blocked in my country".
Strange, it lets me watch a lot of her other songs but not that one.

Been listening to a compilation CD of sixties hits. On it is one by Pitney called : Looking Through The Eyes Of Love. Not a bad song !
Yes, that's a good one also. Gene Pitney was brilliant no matter what he sang. He had an incredible vocal range.
