Well, can’t really add much more to what’s been said already. We were absolutely immense. There were a few Cov around us in the Wolves end and we nearly gave the game away when Sims equalised. We went down for a Johnny Cash 20 seconds later and heard a roar from the Gents! Thought it was only the Cov fans celebrating that we had taken it to extra time. Realised then that we had scored as it was like a fire drill with the masses leaving in their droves. Probably a good job we missed Wrights goal as we may have not been able to contain ourselves and may have got lamped!
Don’t really care who we get in the Semi-final-for me we won the final today.

Hate that “their cup final” talk.

I’ve heard all week about how important this game is to wolves fans and a real chance to win something/trip to Wembley. Sometimes you just have to give a team credit, we played out of our skins today and refused to give up, and it got us over the line.

Talking like we’re plucky little Maidstone town.

The way their GK celebrated at 2-1 shows it meant something to them.

Just got on the plane at Geneva wearing a Cov training top. An old guy stops me and says: 'Is that the City badge?'. I said yes and I'm going back for the Wolves game. I asked him if he's a Cov fan and he replied: 'I played for Cov under Jimmy Hill, Bobby Smith.' I said I'd have a chat with him during the flight. Lovely moment.
To bookend this, I just went through passport control at Geneva airport and the guy said (in French): ‘Coventry City, good win today.’ Was loving it. What a fucking day - absolutely epic.

One thing I noticed was how the game was less physical than the Championship.
Sure there were a few tussles but on the whole Simms and Wright weren’t knocked over so much and the likes of Palmer could run with the ball more.
It suited us.
Yes, very true. Never thought about it at the time, but there was a lot less of there being outmuscled and physically bullied out of the game.

I think Wolves showed us we ain't that bad. Expansive game which pretty much played into our hands. Nothing to worry about prem wise. Having said that , their second goal was quality and let's face it, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal are different gravy.
I'm so proud of our performance today . We're a better team than last season...never thought I'd say that

Honestly I am so fucking proud of that performance!

Was only a Portuguese international goalkeeper stopping that from being a cricket score, there will be people round the world watching that with no clue who the Premier League side was on that showing

110% pisses all over Notts and Middlesbrough away for me, what an amazing game and performance

A lot of people would have you believe even mediocre Premier League players are in some way superhuman. Nice to put that bullshit to bed.

I listened to TalkSport on the way to the match yesterday, they had some bloke from one of the bookies on giving the odds for all the cup ties

What an absolute C-Unit he was

"I don't see how Wolves don't win"

"I would struggle to name any of Coventry's players"

"I'd offer decent odds on Coventry even scoring a goal"

Suck on that you prick

yeah I drove to yesterdays game and heard him. He said all that and the bit that stuck with me was 8/13 are brilliant odds. I don’t see how you don’t win. Maybe he was trying to get everyone to lose their money on wolves really. 😂😂

Probably supports one of 'the big 6'. Absolute football cancer those guys are.
