It’s nothing like Sterling? He has had his contract terminated/hardly played at 3 or 4 clubs
I know but I don't think anything concrete he has ever messed up at cov. Got to give him benefit of doubt imo

Like I said missing a game is ridiculous. Can only hope one had a genuine reason

I dunno what would be worse

Bright does let us down and turns out to be a prick

Or he's not a prick and some posters are doing a daily mail Raheem sterling job on him

Oh dear.

So because posters aren't overly enthused about his attitude - which can be proven from his antics at his previous clubs - they must be racist.

The IQ of those on this forum at times is embarrassingly low.

Grimmer and Davies said on the podcast that Bright was a nice bloke and they'd happily say hello and have a chat if they bumped into him. There was no suggestion from those two that he was unpopular. Obviously they disagreed with him skipping meetings etc though.

Yes. Most fans wish for our players to succeed. That twat doesn't.

He seems to take a dislike to targeted players every season and then runs a campaign against them with the obvious hope that they fail. It could not be more blatant.

It's evident at this time that he wants Bright to fail and that nothing also would make him happier than Robins failing.

It's completely fcuked up as a fan of this club - he should take a serious look as to his motivations (as someone who claims to support us).

He's a Villa fan really and loves to shit stir.

Sterling was targeted by the media because he was buying nice stuff for himself and for his family. I don’t believe his professionalism has ever been questioned?
But buying nice stuff was twisted

I'm saying we don't know why bright missed game but people jumping in his back saying he not professional etc

I get it no smoke without fire etc I am just approaching it as he's got a clean slate with me as far as ccfc is concerned. Havnt heard of him do anything wrong whilst at city

But like I'm rdy to pick up my pitchfork if he does act like a prick here too don't get me wrong

Would Nuno etc have picked him 40 odd times over 3 seasons as a kid...in a top championshio side if he had had a bad issues.

Would Robins have continued to pick him in league 1 if he had issues. And furthermore give him another contract.

I'm sure the current contract reflects the risk.

I'm not hanging they guy yet.

Yeah better days has told us how ruthless robins is in the past

Just can't see him signing someone he is worried about

But like insaid of he does mess up then MR will need to put him in his place or get rid

This is a general comment rather than specific to this situation but managers throughout the history of the game have picked risky players in the belief that they can be the one to get the best out of them.

Thou shall not cast the first stone

Or whatever the verse is lol

Come on pete! Spread love not war

Until it's confirmed hes messing ccfc sbout then we damn him to hell
It was a Stevenson joke. Used to wind me up so much when players wouldnt turn up or turn up late. That wasn’t the issue with ccfc before though as I understand it

Also I don't think he would be a disruption on team spirit at this early stage....it's not like he's developed little cliques in the squad.

The senior players would firmly put him in his place and management.

If he's not in squad tonight and plays minutes I would expect and hope the stupid reporters first question is where is Bright!!!

I hope he plays tonight. He needs minutes in him.

Be nice if robins clarifies wether he missed game for good reason or not but I doubt we will get that

I hadnt heard he was unpopular

Heard he kept bad company beforehand but behaved whilst at cov during the loan

Missing a game is not good tho. I hope he doesnt let us down even though some of decided to hate him no matter what i think

He hardly behaved did he?

He took an impromptu trip to Germany mid-season and he rarely turned up to team meetings.

And those are just the stories that we've heard about.

All for not hanging, drawing and quartering before we know the facts but don't blatantly ignore those in front of you in order to push your arguement.

I have never heard of him taking impromptu trips to Germany though

I have no argument to push. If he fucks ccfc around I will not be fighting his corner

Why would there need to be a clause written into his contract?

Assuming the club has just cause, his contract will surely just be terminated.

With his previous clubs he tends to not see out his contracts through questionable behaviour just hope the contract is watertight so that we don't end up having to pay him like kasta for two years for not kicking a ball

It was common knowledge.

Tom Davies confirmed it personally as he was the one that found out after trying to get hold of him when Bright hadn't turned up for training.
Well cant be too common if i didnt know and seems others posters didnt know as we asking same questions of what has he actuslly done wrong at cov.

Doesnt bode well then for the clean slate unforuntley

The contract will be watertight. All contracts are handled by Sandra Garlick I believe who is a former solicitor who specialises in business and employment law. I'm sure they've been drafted to ensure the club is sufficiently protected.

Amazing how quickly this thread has gone from a few posters saying let’s not rush to judgement, to people getting wound up at that they’re being called racist, to piling on a poster for saying let’s not rush to judgement and back to rushing to judgement.

Can we all calm the fuck down a bit?

I have edited my daily mail post. If anyone still think it's about racism rather than just getting after an individual then I believe they are just posting for likes.

Bsck on topic am hearing some bad things about bright tho. Missed meetings unsanctioned trips. Can only hope he knuckles down and last week's missed game was for a genuine reason.

Didn’t seem anything wrong with your Daily Mail post.

It's been referenced in various CT articles and has been discussed numerous times on here?

Not really sure how more common it can get.
