Like I said earlier in this thread, there's a big excuse culture within the wider fanbase/the city itself.
Last week it was too expensive. They've made the game incredibly affordable and no one wants to go.
The other week it's to do with a lack of atmosphere and away support.
Years back it was because there was nowhere to drink before the game. There's plenty of options now.
A lot of people in this city won't go unless they are given a free ticket, we are playing at Wembley or it's a fiver in the JPT.
Look at Wasps. Came in and gave tickets away and the people of Coventry jumped all over it. The moment they took them away and the bandwagon finished, people didn't want to know.
I've been critical of the points system but if we ever managed to get into the PL, the points amassed will add up and getting a ticket away at Villa will be difficult for people who don't go to games like this.
