4 of us regualr season ticket holders doing Club Coventry on Saturday. £25 is a decent price for the additional extra's as a one-off

How are they going to cancel sales and check postcodes with pay on the gate? The club just tweeted that hospitality is now sold out and the balcony open. Bit of a coincidence less than 24 hours after it appears on the Wrexham forum that you can buy hospitality for £25 it sells out?
they won't come to "pay on the day" and any advanced sales would be cancelled

club cov is full of folk trying it out as it 25 quid

It was the 4th round, but it leads to another point on this. Guaranteed that if we get a good away tie in the 4th round, many of those not bothering on Saturday will moan like buggery if they don't get tickets.

It was funny last year the amount of negative comments about the 'crap' draw against Southampton by some who were then desperate to get tickets for it!

League Cup can go, and give the FA Cup winners a chance in Champions League qualification. Only way to bring back the FA Cup to what it was until the late 90's
No, the Premier League being a feeder for the Champions League is bad enough, don't need to make any more tournaments subsidiaries of it. If anything the Champions League needs to a genuine champions league.

The F A Cup meant Cup Winners Cup euro qualification - removing that led to the demise

Don't disagree with that. Champions only, knock out competition across 2 legs (except the final). I grew up with the FA Cup being as important as winning the league (well, almost). Despite the BBC bigging it up over the last few years, it's just a 'Nice to have' these days for the so called big clubs

How many does the "Balcony" hold?
No idea. I havent got my ticket yet, but had an email saying Club Coventry sold out...

Offering next tier up (balcony) at same price.

Anyone else up there?

I love the FA Cup. I love a good cup run. From our position it doesn't matter about qualification to Europe as our chances of winning from the Chamionship are almost zero. It's great fun if you get a quarter final or something and get a big team at home. I remember the cup final in 1987 although I was very young but I also have good memories of other decent runs. We should always play our best team and try to win and give the fans a good game. I think any resting of players for cup games is pointless. If a player gets injured it's bad luck, it happens. There's o reason why it should though. I'd rather reach a cup quarter final than finish 7th instead of 9th

Regarding 'away' fans in the home end... I remember living in a WV post code and coming to HR to buy tickets to watch city v wolves. I had to name the city skipper for the day (big mo)!
Could have just given a CV postcode.....

Ha ha! I was in a box with CCFC staff who attended and there must have been about 20-30 Cov fans in the section in front of us. When we went 1-0 up and the obvious celebrating started in the home end, there was some proper irate Saints fans!!

Shame on you (but good on you really :))

It will be done on current points total not if you went to the Wrexham game. A well known member on here last night said he can't be arsed to go to this but he's got 1400 points so he would be guaranteed a ticket for the next round.

Unless they give buyers for the 3rd round first choice.

Just registered on their website as I don’t live in Cov and got tickets to the right of the City fans, quite funny hearing them comment on us.
I did go halfway out of my seat when Vik scored 🤣👍

£30 for two adults and 2 kids under 13….absolute bargain. What else can you do as a family for that money ?!
Its not really a £30 day out though once you add in all the extras unless you're walking and taking a picnic to the game.

Completely with you. I remember that great day out at MK Electrics when we had more fans than them ( again) and a 1-0 win. Brilliant support and there is nothing to excite supporters than a good FA Cup run. Days like that stay with you forever.

One of the best ever Coventry away ends that. 8000, everyone up for it, Biamou winner. Amazing.

I would make the top 2 prem qualify for the Champions League, then make the winners of the League Cup and FA cup qualify. Runners up or third place etc if the top 2 of the Prem win the League Cup/FA Cup
