Mark Robins, multiple times.

It wasn't so long ago we all traipsed to Burton to watch him put out a second string and then stand and watch us get our arse handed to us without bringing on any "big guns".
Did Eccles play that day?

No criticism but I am slightly surprised you would miss out on the chance to get two away matches worth of (20) points for a relatively small entrance fee. I think the club are missing a trick if they don't highlight this on socials as there might be some fans who are struggling in January thinking they could go to this one for £13 and save £100s in travel and tickets for Burnley and Preston away and then not loose out on overall points.
Obviously the league is the bigger attraction but if your struggling for cash and don't want to miss out on points it's not a bad idea.

Bang on. Plenty on here moaning about points system and are missing out on 20 easy points.

Personally I’d field this 11:

Moore
Burroughs
Alabi
Rose
McGrath
Ried
Kelly
Eccles
Rus
Tavares
Waghorn

Would not risk any key players, Rose has to be involved as we cant field a back 3 of youngsters it would be suicide.

Totally irrelevant; if Wrexham want it and we don’t, it’s clear cut. We’ve been embarrassed enough times to know that.

I’m genuinely hoping that we can cruise past them with about 7-8 first team regulars, as a cup run will lift the spirits somewhat.
is it fuck

He scored against premier league stoke didn’t he when as a L2 club we beat them
He went down hill after signing for Reading. Loans all over the place (Hibs x2 Dundee United x2 and Sunderland. As far as I know he had not signed for anyone at the start of the season. A good candidate for where is he now? along with Biamou who he persuaded to go to Dundee United with him.. a disaster for both.

Do you disagree with the factual statement I made, then?
Yes as it has fuck all to do with the post I made about the relative gulfs between us and southampton and us and a non league team.

You may want to read all contributions before jumping in mate ;)

not really as it’s costing more to stage the game
Well it's better to have the £105k than not though, so worth winning. I don't have a clue on the finances but I doubt we lose money on staging the tie if we win. And then of course there is the money to be made from the next round.

We lost to Sutton, who were in the second term of non league football at the time, when I think we were third in the old First Division. So without a doubt Wrexham can beat us and if we play a substantially weakened team I think it is quite likely.

Pretty sure a few of those are on loan. Seems silly to throw this game away and the money that would come with winning.

That once again has fuck all to do with what was a basic post about the gulf in quality between a mid table Championship team and a poor PL team comapred to said Championship team and a non league team.

I have stated they can beat us on this very thread but it's nonsense to say they are "likely" to beat us if we rest any players.

utter nonsense

You're entitled to your opinion but in my view the gulf between us and Man City is greater than us and Wrexham.

If we played some of the line ups suggested on here we would lose.

Oh and a message to any Wrexham fans out there, if you want to get one over on your more successful South Wales brothers you can actually hold those eBay brought French flags the right way round.

That's still not anywhere near the point I was making is it now
Well to be honest, I find many of your posts incoherent and illogical. However my reading of your post was that you believe that there is more of a gulf between the Championship and Wrexham's league than between the Championship and the Premier League. In that case I feel my opinion that there is more of a gulf between us and Man City than between us and Wrexham is relevant.

What the actual fuck are you talking about now?

I clearly mentioned the teams and now you are flapping about trying not to lose face.

I can imagine at work in the morning "Hi, shitty weather today isn't it", "Yes and that is at the reason why we will lose", "Fancy a cup of coffee?" "If Vik doesn't play we are doomed"

Mate you didn't read a post correctly and it is not the first time you have done that. It's not just me you react like this to either.

Also the irony of you calling someone else's posting "incoherent and illogical" is well *chefs kiss

Oh the irony! You accuse ProfessorbyGrace of not answering your incoherent posts properly then say you don't agree with his factual statement. You say this is because it doesn't answer your question. Yes that is very logical.

So you said (rightly) we are one league below Southampton. What league is that? Oh, it's the Premier league. Do Man City play in the Premier league?
i was replying regarding bsb's post about the difference between us and southampton in last years cup game

what the actual fuck do man city have to do with a comparison between 2 teams that played each other?
