Been keeping an eye on 3 of the games tonight. Derby look to be a good team without a goalscorer. Took it to Brentford and could have won. Forest give the effort, their goal tonight ends their drought but it was a lucky cross that bypassed everyone and ran into the net. Still see them struggling.

And for Wycombe, it seems like others have watched the same game I have. Barnsley 2-1 Wycombe. I've see volleyball matches where the ball was on the ground more often than in this game. Are Wycombe sponsored by an airline as that's how high the ball was for most of their possession.

Bad puns aside, Saturday is a must win for us. But watching all the huffing and puffing on display, I reckon we will be outfought against the Chairboys. Would even go as far as predicting one or two sendings off for us.

Expecting a really scrappy game, our midfield not allowed to get any real control. Akinfenwa being his usual man mountain and giving McFadz a real battle. Wycombe, with the fans as well, 1-0.

Chance to go 10 clear of Wycombe Saturday amazing really considering how the table looked before internatonal break big game as they all are at the level.

Don't really care how the teams above us get on as long as the ones below us keep their distance. 19th would be a successful season in my eyes.
Despite my "Confidence & belief" I agree that 19th would be successful.

We have had some positive results but other than Rotherham performances haven’t been great, coupled with the fact we are playing teams in and around us I fail to see where this excessive optimism has come from.

We've never been outfought by Wycombe and have just stood up to Cardiff, Rotherham and Luton without many issues. Wycombe are no bigger and stronger than any of them.

As for Akinfenwa, Saturday would be 3 starts in a week so it will be interesting to see if he actually plays. Hopefully he does because he's a bystander when the opposition has the ball.

We do best against them playing on the deck and running at the defence. They'll try and hack O'Hare if he plays

Some of their players looked cream crackered tonight. I’m hoping an extra days rest puts us in better shape.

Cardiff, Norwich and Luton (3 of the 6 games) are not in and around us, are they?

Good point about Akinfenwa, we struggle to play out of defence when the opposition plays a half decent high press. Hopefully with hin on the pitch that's give someone a bit more time on the ball.

2-1 win. A draw wouldn't be the end of the world if we pick up a win against Huddersfield or sheff weds.

Well aren't you cheerful fellow?

Maybe the fact we're 6 points clear of relegation? If that's not a reason to be optimistic, I dont know what is.

I wonder if we'll revert to the box on Saturday. They couldn't deal with it at all last season and it could give us a chance for 3 points with Allen and Shipley starting meaning we have some fresh legs for next midweek.

I'm worried about our perfect record coming to an end there (we beat them in the JPT there too) but I think we just have to pull this one off and then hopefully we become an established champ team and they can go back to League One. Robins always seems to out manage Ainsworth too.

We don't have a perfect record there. Admittedly we won all but 1 of our games against them but we lost our first visit there on the league Cup when we almost threw away a 3-0 first leg lead

If last nights anything to go by it’ll be an awful spectacle. Don’t think they strung three passes together all night.
