I’m suddenly pretty confident of a win. It’s based on nothing other than me doing a good deed for a total stranger today and an expectation that this is rewarded in some way by The Universe with a comfortable win. It’s flimsy but I’m clinging to it.....

Did he want you to spit or swallow? In all seriousness, I hope the powers that be in the multiverse reward your good deed sir👍

😂😂😂😂 if I ever found myself in that position... I’d like to think I would spit. But I guess sometimes you just get carried away in the moment.

There are some extremely panicky team selections on here.

Saturday worries me.

Would have been less worried if Fadz had been playing. Think they will do everything to get crosses in, and hit long early balls (based on Ainsworth having watched the first part of our Luton game). We need to dominate the game so they do not get enough opportunities to do damage. I would go 2 up front if only to give them less time at the back to launch it. Whether we do or don't do that, we need to press them back as much as possible. Can't wait for tomorrow. Will warm up by watching Forest get thumped!

We need to have all 11 men fighting for the win. That means players like Shipley and Walker are no where near the starting 11.

Godden won't be ready yet, so I don't really know where that leaves us. Gyökeres possibly should come in, but Robins clearly doesn't rate him despite signing him in January when we were crying out for attacking talent.

He needs to fuck the wingback system off. I wouldn't be playing McCallum either, but there's literally no one else.

We really need to win this game but I'm extremely worried. They'll be up for it and I can see us just lying down and taking it. Can see a 0-0.

Walker has to start. We need someone who can finish.
I share some of your concerns about his work rate but I do think his fitness has played a part in that.
I actually thought he looked more aggressive off the ball when he Came on Tuesday but it's hard to judge when the game is already over.

I'd start him and Max and bring Godden on later in the game.
Handy to have Biamou in there for their set plays as well.

Agree with this Clint. Think the 2 up front will help press them back too, and help create more chances for us.

Well he did hit the bar from a Luton corner on Tuesday

If he sets up negative for this il lose my head.

Theres no 'ooo draws ok' its not. Theyre bottom of the league, and their defence makes ours look solid.

We simply have to win this. Then we need 2 more wins from the remaining 9 which surely, is doable

If we lose this we deserve to go down. 1-0 us, take an early lead followed by 85 mins of defending.

Gut feeling is we'll need at least 2 to win this. Need an immense performance from Osti (minus any red mist moments)

If we set up like this:

Wilson
Pask Hyam Ostigard
Dabo James Kelly DaCosta*
Hamer
Walker/Godden Biamou

*or literally anyone over McCallum
(Bring O'Hare on around 60/70 to run at tired legs)

Then we win the game and we'll give everyone in the league a game as well.

But... Robins will start dross like O'Hare and McCallum, and persist with one up top, and we'll be a car crash. A car crash that runs around a lot and covers a lot of ground, but a car crash nonetheless.

Car crash ? You’ve got DaCosta at left back & O’Hare on the bench 🤣

I honestly pull my hair out at people who can't see the problem in O'Hare. He's a hindrance to this team when starting. Far, far more effective off the bench, which is how he was utilised for large parts of last season.

O'Hare is our best player?

There is no doubt in my mind that if Allen had started in place of O'Hare for all the games O'Hare has started this season we would be safe already. O'Hare is great because he runs around a lot, but his impact on games is just not there for a No. 10. He is so, so bad at the final ball and finishing.
