You not thought that maybe he needed to get that train?

My daughter went for a photoshoot today and the photographer HAD to get home, as his wife had just given birth two days previous.

Maybe Fisher needed to get on that train. Night out, dinner table booked, concert, wife not too well etc.

Also... he can't win... if he turned up in a chauffeur driven car so he could have a couple of pints he would get stick ... if he travels with the fans he gets stick....

Anger at Fisher would be a normal reaction for most Cov fans, given what Fisher has done to this club over years.
A few on here, you know the 'super fans', seem not bothered at all and prefer to froth at the mouth at Simon Gilbert or anyone remotely NOPM. No idea what it would need Sisu to do to for these super fans to show any anger to Sisu or Fisher....
So you advocate abuse and violence? So you think that the way to protest is to threaten Fisher on his own at a railway station? So you think that NOPM is helping the club you support.?
I think putting in the hard yards in watching this club over the years entitles fans to protest but there has to be a better way than intimidation?

No mate, it's the same fucking shit. "You said this in 2014" and "yeah but you said this" etc.

Where is this Nazi post?

It's a thread. Actual Nazis in America.. not a row between City Fans - Charlottesville... ( well some support Trump on that and some don't)...

So why arnt these angry supporters doing something? Where are the protests, all I see is bitching and moaning on CET or here?

I would never defend the level of outright threatening behaviour going on there......unfortunately it seems that those causing the trouble were knuckle dragging knobs who'd had a few beers and were wanting a bit of aggro - serves them right if they got it and were arrested.

It's also worth pointing out that Leeds have had a succession of unpopular owners, many of whom have been pretty public, and none have I believe suffered injury.

Tony does have a point though. You and Sivk boy did make such statements.
Encouraging violence and intimidation is just wrong be it against the council or SISU

There were plenty of pissed up idiots shouting plenty of abuse at our own player from just after half time. We have more idiots than is healthy and its just followed on after the game by the looks of things. The atmosphere at the final whistle wasn't nice today. I said on the way out today that I'm looking forward to some of the more distant away games as a lot of the pissed up chavs won't bother going to them. The lad who abused Fisher will probably see himself as some sort of hero sadly.

It actually ended up as a thread with you getting your Jackboots on and sticking your right arm out for Merkel and Sick Boy in the 5 reverse gear Italian Panza division ably assisting you.

They said this is a football thread so
Let's stick to topic shall we.

What does that even mean? Leeds have had a series of appalling owners, as have many clubs, and the only incident along these lines worthy of mention was the one at QPR. Charlton, Cardiff, Leeds, Blackpool fans have all fallen short of physically attacking their owners, and so have we thankfully.

Not defending Fisher or passing any comment on the video really, but this idea that if it were this club or that club it would be different is bollocks. We've spent years being in the news for protest actions, pitch invasions etc (there have been banning orders, prosecutions, threats made), so not sure what more we can do short of attacking people, and Fisher isn't even the owner, so that would achieve precisely nothing.
Not at the moment he isn't

Utterly absurd. This is a forum and a virtual world. Oh and the people liking your post have been equally abusive and condescending.

Forum and Virtual world? No it is people posting. Same principles apply in my book whether you are publishing yourself on line or speaking face to face. I have no control over who likes my posts. I don't post for likes, I post to express my opinions.

Yes... but I won't let you have the last word. What you said was bollocks. So, back to the thread...

And do what though? What can we do that we haven't done already? Marches (loads of them), boycotts, banners, flares, whistles, rallies, pitch invasions, clashes with stewards, pigs, tennis balls, sit-ins, countless media articles, trips to SISU offices, questions in parliament. What else? Genuine question, because I have no idea. Physical violence against individuals? It's a line no fans of any club have ever really crossed, and I hope we don't.

Tell us again how Leeds fans would have put every window through at the council house. All of a sudden they're not that bad. Changing your tune again to suit. No surprise there.

I encouraged violence against people? Sick Boy as well? Do you have any evidence?

All the "heroes" who confronted and abused Tim Fisher today have done is spite themselves. Made themselves look like buffoons, whilst Tim Fisher walks calmly away as the better man.

Some of the players are getting underserved criticism too early. Fans overestimated our potential in this league. Were over confident after two games and now knee jerking to three disappointing results.

The season is young. A lot of signings have come in and it will take time to gel. When you concede goals it is not always the back four and keepers fault. When you don't score it is not always the strikers fault. In competitive sport the margins are fine between success and failure. Turning the corner can be slow. The fans don't need to drain players confidence prematurely.

So just give up? Apathy is half the issue isn't it?

What is really sad is that, there seems to be a 50 50 split on this threads, of knobs who think it is acceptable behaviour.

I don't like Fisher and his attitude. But at least he was at the game and travelling by the same means as our fans. Shame fans let their frustrations spill out and couldn't engage in a more constructive dialogue.

This is mob culture, yes Fisher is the frontman and deserves our condemnation for the plight of the club but a couple of weeks ago we were on the verge of an unbeaten season on this forum and not a word was raised regarding Sisu, now we are back to the bile that blighted last season.
Today we drew a football game, not the best performance but a point gained in the long season ahead.A last minute winner today and those guys would have been offering him a beer.
Decency is missing, yes he's arrogant and winds fans up but violence is counter productive just as NOPM is.
This shows Fisher in a much better light that the abusers. So we did lose today after all!
I think you are underestimating how angry people are with Sisu. I very much doubt that a last minute winner would have changed the reception that Fisher got today. What Sisu have done and are doing is far deeper than results.

Err... steady on there son. I don't think Tim Fisher could ever be the better man in any situation. ;)

Some people saying Fisher walks away the better man? What a load of rubbish. He knew what he was doing and he has a real arrogance if he thinks he can stand with us as fans without getting abuse. The bloke shouldn't have got in his face but you will always get one or two that will cross the line.Fisher knew that he would get a reaction, so why do it? Fans have been lied to for years and he expects people to leave him alone?

Ok. Whilst I'm happy to call anyone out praising Nazis I'm not reading all that!

All you need to know is the most vocal person on here condemning the verbal abuse Fisher took today doesn't want to condemn the violence, murder and abusive language of far right and neo-nazi groups with the same vigour as he does when someone tells Tim Fisher he's a wanker. Obviously murdering "looney lefties" in America is no where near as bad calling someone a wanker on a train station. Apparently.
