Is he worth more now ? He hasn’t featured for them hence the lower valuation , with add ons . Possibly up to £3 million in total

You can’t rate him if that’s all he’s worth

People on here said he’s made a massive difference in getting us to the play offs - he’s on a lengthy contract with a premier league club and wages - we want him to help us get another push yet he’s worth a token transfer fee?

How is £1.5 million a token fee for a defender ? I did say with add ons up to £3 million ! Do you value him higher ? Bearing in mind we’ve paid £3.5 for Simms and around a million for Sakamoto

Think the issue with McNally will be wages more than the fee. He will more than likely have had a promotion pay rise in his contract. Would be interesting to know if that takes him out of our wage structure.

I don't know how we can be arguing that Hamer is worth so much money based off the play-off run and then try and cheap out on McNally when the defence, which was transformed when he came in, were probably the biggest reason we qualified.
I’m not cheaping out on him , he’s surplus to requirements at Burnley . The question was what would you pay for him , I said an initial £1.5 million rising to £3 million with add ons included . I don’t feel we should be paying the £4 million that’s been suggested

We kept 12 clean sheets before he arrived and 10 after he signed. He was a good signing but I'm not sure he transformed the defence. Fadz getting fit and Doyle improving played as much of a part.

Now I’m totally lost I suggested 1.5 with add ons for McNally quoting we paid an initial 3.5 for Simms and you post something that says the same thing

no you kept comparing the two fees and saying we paid £3.5m - we haven’t - the general consensus it’s £5m as long as appearances are achieved and up to £8m if we get promoted

Simms has played fewer championship and league 1 games than McNally so why you think there should be much disparity I’ve no idea

How often do defenders go for as much as strikers. Thats why there is so much disparity.

Is he better than Hyam? Do you seriously think they’d sell for £1.5m?

Because strikers go for more than defenders , anyway I’m out

Give it up mate , you won’t win and end up wishing why you bothered

Well you won’t be getting defenders for sub £2m from Burnley so we’d better give up and look at lower leagues or out of contracts
